Breeder. Id love to rescue but im just to into showing it wouldnt be fair to kennel the dog that much. maybe some day if im not so into showing i will get a spca special.

I always rescue. I've had purebred dogs that way, and I've had some of the most wonderful mutts, but I've never gone through a breeder or pet store.

mix or purebred, rescue or breeder. So yall can see I dont know but I'm keeping my opinions open on breed and where to get him/her. Though as Nolu mentioned, a greyhound would be nice.

Most likely a breeder, it won't be for awhile though. The shelter pups really pull at my heart strings. Maybe one of each...

I want to adopt a Border Collie from a BC rescue or shelter next.
(That's my plan, but it doesn't always turn out that way. If I fall in love with another dog or another one finds me, things might change.)
It won't be for a while, until we settle down financially.

My next dog is also most likely to be a foster. For years I've wanted to so badly, adn regret terribly that my home is not good enough- especially considering the size of my fenced back yard and the room I would have for dogs that are being threatened with their lives.

My next dog will most certainly be an American pit bull terrier..I am really not sure whether he/she will come from a resuce or breeder..as much as it kills me to know of the thousands of pit bulls sitting in shelters.. I do have my eye on a couple nice breeders and I would love to do some conformation ect. But then I visit a rescue page and see all those smiley pit bulls needing homes and I change my mind again..I really don't know. *sigh*

My next Dane will come from a breeder..already have it narrowed down to 2..even though I won't be adding one for quite a long time..4 dogs is my limit.
