Dusk till dawn, Highlander2, Kill Bill. I also HATE movies that take historical events and make love stories out them and take away from the exciting things that were really going on for example Pearl Harbor and Alexander. How could a movie about the life and times of Alexander the great be a boring sappy waste of film. I liked Braveheart but they tried that crap in that movie too.

I loved fight club!

....and it would have had potential if it wasn't sprung pretty much out of the blue. There was next to no lead-up what-so-ever, no realization that the aliens were weakening because of it and the explanation at the end was required because there was nothing to lead us to believe that a simple virus was killing them while the carnage was going on. That's where this movie truely failed. (just my take on it).
For me it's that if the aliens really wanted the planet, why did they wait so long to take it, if they were there way before us? Makes no sense.

Any movies that brings me to either banging my head with a sledge hammer due to boredom or make me fall asleep 1/4 through it, and MK&C I agree with you, all Star Wars movies were boring. It's the one movie my husband will watch all by himself.

Any movies with Steven Seagal, Jean Claude Vandam or Chuck Norris and sorry girls but I can't stand George Clooney.

I think the all time worst movie I had to endure watching, twice no less because of circumstance out of my control, was The Pelican Brief. UGH!

Wait I forgot to add one that was a true torture. It was when my son was two and he wanted to see the Barney Movie at the theatre. It was exciting for us because it was his first movie in a theatre but OH MY GOODNESS, talk about a mind numbing experience where all I could remember was how my butt would hurt and no matter how many position I'd try to shift myself in it was a true pain in the posterior.

I forgot....

The Tuxedo- Jackie Chan! I need not say more, the title is just as terrible as the film!

The Guardian- Mario Van Peebles or something. One of those aeroplane films that you have NO escape from, nearly had to chew off my arm, just to distract myself!

IT-Stephan King, Watched it when I was 10, had a fear of clowns beforehand, am now totally neurotic about them, had nightmares for 6 months! Thanks alot! :(

Van Helsing-Hugh Jackman, Could have been an outstanding film, good concept etc. But the acting is laughable in it, and so unatural!! Christian still loves it for the Kate Beckensal in a corset

I do LOVE almost all Stephen King novels/novellas/short stories. He's a horror genius!!! I had an autographed poster as a child. I had sent a letter to his home address (or most of it at least...LOL) and enclosed one of my "scary monster" drawings. I received an autographed poster and a "thank you" letter for my picture saying he'd be sure to use it one day. Talk about a morale booster for a kid!!!! He's still my fav horror author.
*tries desperately to hide her jealousy...*

Yeah, Well....he has a corgi!!! So there!!

*Makes an appointment to work on self control*

I only have about 25-30 more books of his to read (which is pretty good since he has out hundreds, lol). The only one I was really disappointed by was The Tommyknockers.

Sorry about the huge Stephen King post in the movie thread
*ducks and covers*

I've only seen bits and pieces of like to two first Harry Potter movies and they were horrible. The acting wasn't very good and I thought Hermoine's accent sounded fake (and Emma Watson is British  ).

If you hated the movie, you'll REALLY despise the book. That's the only piece of literature I've ever had to resort to Cliff's Notes to get through . . . . and I even skipped through to the end of those

Prêt-à-Porter is THE WORST! People were leaving in the middle of the movie. It doesn't matter how many A-list actors are thrown into a movie if the plot sucks.

Anything with Steven Segal and Martin Lawrence in itwill be a waste of time.

I also thought Trainspotting was a bit pants! I really don't see what everyone sees in it. Having said that I don't think much of Pulp Fiction either. *waits to get burnt* Lol!

Mean Girls (Total waste of my time worst movie ever in my opinion)

Fun with Dick and Jane (Its bad when its almost the end of the movie and your still waiting for the funny part)

Princess Bride ( never understood the huge draw of this movie to so many people)

I don't like any war movies really I get annoyed/bored with the battle scenes.
