You're welcome. Silken Windhounds are on my major want list, but hubby doesn't like the look of sighthounds. He tells me that they look like holocaust victims. Then again, he won't do any work with any dog we have so his opinion doesn't really matter.

I think whippets are the sighthound for me. They aren't too sighthoundy lol. I have met a few silkens and while they are lovely dogs, they are NOT for me.

I like more crazy and bouncy in my dogs lol.

You'd probably like Kaia. Her breeder said she was glad Kaia could get placed with me because I had the experience of living with a griff. She would have driven most borzoi people nuts. lol.

This video is for you then Dekka. If you ever want to get your forehead slobbered on as part of a super kung fu ninja move, Kaia is the dog to do it. She's the only borzoi I know of that hucklebutts. And she does it on a daily basis.

Hey Dekka,do your whippets like to cuddle? How big are they? I am really interested in this breed because I read that they are high energy (in short bursts) outdoors and calm, gentle and quiet indoors which is what I want in a dog since I have Spina Bifida and have balance problems due to my weak legs. I can still walk but not very far since my legs tire out quickly. I have also read that they are prone to separation anxiety. Do your whippets have this problem?

Romy... sorry I didn't notice you had posted a vid.. VERY cute. lol love it. My whippets are even more crazy when you play (likely would be a bad thing in a dog as large as a zoi) The little laughter in the background is adorable!!

George. Yes they both love to cuddle. As for the calm gentle. Yes, but they weren't as puppies. My two were VERY rowdy puppies (and this is coming from someone who breeds JRTs!) My suggestion would be to get an adult. They calm down a LOT as they mature.
