I've gotten into a lot of...let's call them "debates"...with a lot of you, all in fair play of course, on here and in PMs and on Messenger. So I just wanted to make a few things clear:

I'm not gay/lesbian, but I have no problem with people that are. I don't really have an opinion on gay marriage or not, but I do believe that our country as a whole needs to decide whether it is legal or not, not just each individual state.

I'm pro-choice; I've never had to make that decision personally, and hope I never am in a position where I have to. I'm not saying I would definately 100% make that decision if it were my life, as it would depend on my situation at the time.

I'm anti-death penalty. I don't think our government should be making the decision on who lives or who dies. After all, one innocent man in prison (or executed) is a thousand times worse then 100 guilty men going free.

I was raised Christian, and I'm still not entirely sure where my faith is. I think faith is something that's always changing, and it's never exactly the same from one day to the next.

Basically my general view on life is that you have one life to live, and you should be allowed to live it as you wish, with whomever you wish to live it with.

And that's all I've got. Take it or leave it.

lol PWCorgi.

I think Razz is right. You have one life to live, and I believe it is true.
I am lesbian, I am pro choice on alot of things, I believe in the death penatly, and I too was raised Christian. I still believe in God, I do not go to church nor do I read the Bible. I respect people and their religion choices, their sexuality, and all other choices. I use to judge alot and as I grew older I grew more mature. I believe people talk and act how they do by how they are raised but also how they choose to change that way as they grow older and mature.

Thats where I stand.

Why? Can't younger people have the ability to write something like that?

Or r they sposed 2 talk like thiis?

Just wondering
Oh geesh I didn't mean to offend. I'm honestly just impressed at how smart and mature all of you are.

I really have no means to look down on any of you, whatsoever.. I'm not that much older in the scheme of things, and you guys are all way smarter. Maybe it just boosts my confidence for me to think I'm better than people who are younger than me, you know like how bullies beat people up to boost their own low self esteem? I don't MEAN to think that way, it just happens.

And, for the record, I haven't had a real conversation with a teenager since I was one so I'm out of touch with things. It WASN'T that long ago but I have a HORRIBLE memory. I also have a tendency to forget that the younger folks have much more internet savvy than me.. I started when I was 12 whereas you guys probably started when you were what, 5? 7?

Please forgive me. What I meant to be a compliment (implying that Razz seemed too mature to be as young as she implied in the "how old are you thread") turned into an insult to everyone else that is under 18. I'm a jerk. You can punch me. I bet you could all beat me up pretty easily, too.

Um. If you're not against people liking the same sex, why on earth would you think our country needs to decide if homosexuality is legal or not? Maybe I'm reading this wrong, but I think the answer to that is obvious.

11. I think you'll find that most chaz kids are a hell of a lot more mature than our peers. Besides, you don't have to be too savvy to join a forum and type.

I didn't mean it to be taken that way. What I meant was that I don't really have an opinion on whether gay marriage should be legal or not - but I believe that if it's going to be legal in one state, it should be legal in ALL states. And vice versa.

If we are stating where we are on these subjects I am pro-choice and all for gay marriage. That is where I stand.
