Well I'm not sure what the purpose of this thread is but if it's to classify ourselves I'm pro-choice, pro-death penalty, pro-gay marriage, atheist.

If we're classifying ourselves, I'm pro-choice, anti-death penalty and pro-gay marriage (or, rather, anti-discrimination). I'm also a theist (note the space) of some sort, with a base of mainly Christian beliefs.

To continue in that vein, I am pro choice (keep your rosaries off my ovaries :D) anti death penalty and pro gay marriage. As for my religion, some people seem to believe being an atheist goes hand in hand with having no morals, but I assure you this isn't the case. In reality, I believe there might be something out there, but having no concrete proof (other than someones word) I do not believe in a "God" other than doG. lol. :D

Pro-choice, pro death penalty, pro- gay marriage (and their right to have children) and an atheist.

As far as the morals thing goes, I have a friend who once said "Since you are an atheist and all, maybe you could kill her for me". (She was talking about a woman she is entering a lawsuit with and the "kill her" part was said in jest). I was extremely offended. Just because I don't think that there is a higher power to answer to, doesn't mean that I don't want to live a good and just life!! I am a very moral person, and I feel as if there is NO certainty other than the life I am living now. Therefore, I will live it to the best of my ability. Anyway, just my two cents.

I'm pro-choice to an extent.. I think that women wanting to get an abortion should get some serious counseling first. Having an abortion can affect your ability to have children in the future, and I have also known women who were emotionally scarred for a long time because they always wondered "What if?" I know that I would never be able to have an abortion myself if something ever happened. I think that more should be done to prevent unwanted pregnancies, such as FREE birth control for EVERYONE, whether it be condoms or pills or whatever.

I am anti-death penalty for the same reason Razz stated.. I don't think it should be up to the government to decide who lives or dies.. I am a Christian and I guess I figure people will get what's coming to them in the end anyway.

I am pro-gay marriage/civil unions and their right to have children. I know some gay couples that would be excellent parents.

I am woman...I reserve the right to change my mind...on any topic at any time. Maybe even more than once or twice within a few minutes.

I am a parent...I reserve the right to be a hypocrite when my kids want to do something dumb that I did as a child.

I am a wife....I reserve the right to change my ideas on whether or not we're exchanging gifts for our anniversary...where the cans and jars go in the pantry.

I believe most everything can be explained by nature, logic, or science but you can ALWAYS fall back on science fiction, or blame it on fairies, if you have to.

Well I am glad people are for gay/lesbian marriage AND that they think its right for them to have kids to. I use to know about 5-6 people who thought gay/lesbian marriage was awesome but they didn't think they should have kids.
I plan on having a child by gooly and thats what i'm gonna do! SO THERE!

OK done... :D

Oh, also, I'm pro-choice, believe gay couples should have the right to have children (and I also said I'm pro-gay marriage).
