I've spent countless thousands of hours doing nothing but watching and learning body language thanks to working with and supervising boarding/daycare. A couple books I've read, "Other End..." for one, seem to be pretty spot on in what I've observed and learned myself. Body language is fascinating and each breed, and each dog, has it's own specific "accent" that not every other dog automatically knows how to read, so it's incredible to watch dogs learn how to "speak" another language.

Ooooh, I am sure being at a daycare would help a TON on learning doggy language.

I know when I used to go to dark parks I could spot out fights before they even happened (which isnt all that hard). And it amazes me that 10 times out of 10, the owners were completely oblivious.... until something bad happens and its too late. If you watch your dog and the dogs around him/her you can get a good feel for whats going on in their heads.
