I am the same when people call my girls........Josie is pronounced Jo-C and people call her jo-sy (if you understand that).

when I was a kid the kids would sing: nancy pancy pudding pie... kissed the boys and made them cry.

there was more to that song but I think i've repressed it somewhere in the back of my mind.

I actually got named after a cousin of mine because when my mom was pregnant with me my cousin kept asking if she could buy me. My mom felt so bad when she came to her one day after I was born with her whole lifes savings in a jar wanting to buy me. My mom did the next best thing and gave me her name. And my cousin was thrilled to have me named after her .. even if she couldn't buy me.
