In my hometown, Ridgetown, pitbulls were banned. Everyone signed a petition to get them back, and when that didn't work, they resorted to violence until they got the message and withdrew the law.
As a vet student, I work part-time in a veterinary office as an assistant, and tons of people come to me each day asking for advice on the pitbull ban on that town, because I no longer live in Ridgetown.
I've been attacked by a pitbull before, but in my opinion, I think it's the owners that need to learn how to handle the dogs and choose ones from the litter wisely, so why all the fuss?
