Tsunami, hurricanes, typhoons, earthquakes, mudslides, when are we going to get a break? All we're missing is a massive tornado and a volcanic eruption. I'm still trying to cope with the tsunami that happened is Thailand, then BOOM hurricane Katrina in Florida, then in New Orleans, then a typhoon in Japan, then BOOM hurricane Rita, then a mudslide in Central America and now this earthquake in Asia. Not to mention the wild fires in California & the earthquake in Central California. When will it all stop? The news is just not about one person getting murdered, now its THOUSANDS of people getting killed. Why is mother nature have this fury? :(

I blame it all on global warming. Well atleast the hurricanes is because of global warming. So I guess I blame all humans including myself.

You do know that earth climate goes through a cycle of warmth and cold over long periods of time?

I assume you also know that hurricane seasons have ups and downs over centuries...

Plus we only know about hurricane only so much. Hurricanes have been around before people wrote about climate.

I've read news articles that Global warming is to blame for the hurricanes and that there are more coming. I think I'll believe the news.

Mother Nature's pissed!!

I don't think people should be allowed to build on land that is below sea level and that is prone to hurricanes, or anywhere to close to the ocean for that matter, hotels are fine just not residentail areas, and possibly not on fault lines, or near volcanoes.

I think the end of the world is nigh people! Either that or god is really angrywith us for some reason. It is awful though, I seriously hope this stuff settles down because think of all those innocent people that have died. Maybe god thinks the world is too overpopulated or something :(

Dunno, Blue. When you're talking science, it's hard to refute MIT . . . especially when you don't know where the other guy is coming from, agenda-wise. That site definitely seems to have an agenda other than hard science.
