Debt would be gone first and foremost. Mine & my immediate family; the SO & his immediate family.
Trust funds would be established for our nephew, my BF's three girls, and my SO's BF's two kids.
Third, I'm buying a huge, established farm - hopefully back towards CHS, where I grew up. I want it to be sustainable but profitable. I want all the veggies, cows, goats, chickens, etc.
I'd also probably not tell anyone for a year or so, then quietly just slip off of the map to everyone except those that need to know where I am. During that time, I'd find financial advisors and planners and start setting things up. I'd intend to have most of the money invested, but be able to live *very* comfortably off of what the interest produced.
I'd make donations to the two rescues I volunteer for, and I'd buy the best camera/lens possible. I do photographs for their animals, and the deserve nothing but the best.
I guess I'd travel some, and do fun things.
Oh, and I'd adopt my current foster dog.
