What type of transmission do you prefer?

standard, though i learned on an automatic.
i have to say that it sucked bigtime the last time it snowed and the roads were backed up like crazy and i sat in stop and go traffic for 3.25 hours (what's normally a 20 minute commute). even putting it in neutral and putting my parking brake on when i stopped, i thought my clutch leg was going to fall off by the time i got home.
