What time do your dogs wake up?

Smokey comes over to my bed starting about 7:30 in the Am. She stands there and looks to see if I am awake yet. If I am still asleep, or pretending to be asleep because I want to sleep a little longer, she goes back to her bed. In about 20 minutes she checks again. As soon as I say " Hi Smokey", then she gets excited and starts running around the bedroom. Prior to that, she does not make a sound.....:)

They wake up when I wake up. For border collies they are pretty laid back in the house. The only time they get excited is when we go outside. I suppose it has a lot to do with the amount of physical activity they get during the day. After a day of play they are more then willing to come crawl into bed with me.

Well, now since Chloe has joined the household (in September) I don't get to hit the snooze button as much now after the alarm goes off. Neither one bother me before the alarm goes off at 5:15am but when the alarm goes off Chloe wants out of the crate and Bailey is standing there breathing in my face at the side of the bed just waiting for me to open an eye. If I do hit the snooze I just say "SHHHHHHH" and they don't bother me until the next alarm a few minutes later. Then unless they are going to doggie day care they go back to sleep 2 hours later and I go to work at that time.

It varies. Millie and Lucy generally get up at the same time as each other, not always. It's usually about 7:00-8:00 when the animals all get up. I wake up with Lucy on my legs looking at me to see if I'm stirring (or trying to give me the occasional slip of the tongue in my mouth ), Millie at my side with her head sweetly rested on my arm, a kitten on my chest mewing, and another kitten on my head mewing. LOL. I wouldn't have it any other way. Sometimes Lucy sleeps in with me until about 8:30, but pretty rarely.

Breakfast time.
Lunch time.
Pee time.
Snack time.
Dinner time.
Outdoor time.
Bedtime.

If it involves me walking to the opposite location of where I want to be at the time, they are awake and ready.

I can't remember the last time Colt woke me up. He stays in bed until we get up. We also keep some odd hours. I usually take him out for the last time around 9-10pm. If my husband works and comes in around midnight, he will take him out if he gets up. Otherwise, he waits until I come down in the morning around 7am. On weekends, he stays in bed until we get up - sometimes as late as 9am. If my husband did a night shift, he may even let him out around 7:30am and come to bed for awhile and Colt rarely complains.

We lead a very active life and Colt is in the thick of it. I take him everywhere I can - to the bus stop, to drop my daughter off at school - I like to keep him used to the car and he doesn't like to be left alone. I honestly think he probably doesn't get as much sleep as he would like so when it is quiet, he takes advantage of it.

Luckily for me Duke seems to have no problem sharing my insomniac sleeping patterns. He'll happily lie at my feet until 2-3 in the morning some nights and won't wake up until I get home from school around 12. Next semester I won't be getting home until 3 though because of an extra class so I'm going to make an extra effort to get him to sleep early so I can walk him before I go to school since he'll be home alone later.

As for waking me up, it's virtually unheard of, on weekends we like to sleep in and I usually wake up before him around 12ish and he's still out solid:).

Where a pretty good match and both enjoy our sleep.

I work nights, get into bed around 2am - 3am and they wake me up around 8am. I let them out into the yard and crawl back into bed til around 9:30 sometimes 10 if I'm extra tired.
I fell asleep at work last night and on the couch when I got home. Luckily I work 4 10 hour days so I have 3 days off to recoup.

Both of my pups get up whenever I get up... they'll even sleep in until noon. And now that I usually wake up at 6 am, they look at me all grumpy like, "just a few more minutes, pleeeaassee!"

haha, they like sleeping in, and they basically have ever since they were young. Like their Mombly. =)

Usually the girls are asleep before I am, but they stay asleep usually until I get up, unless someone needs to potty

harry sleeps with my mum and he knows that the alarm means time for a walk so he jumps onto the bed and drops his whole 26kg of muscle onto her. lol

We used to have one Beagle that went absolutely bezerk at 5 am wanting its breakfast - it would pound like mad on the backdoor until it was fed (thankfully it was difficult to hear upstairs in my bedroom). My own dog is nowhere near as bad - sometimes it just wakes me up by licking my face - how cute :)

Kassie and Boomer get up when I do at 630am and goes out to potty. Tilly thinks they are nuts and stays in bed and normally will get up when I literally have to push her out of bed at around 8am.

Bodhi stays in bed till I push her off :D

Which can vary from 8am to late (I have been known to sleep till 3pm - very very very rarely I might add ;) )!
