Watched 22 Jump Street and How To Train Your Dragon 2. Loved both! 22 Jump Street was funnier and better than expected. How To Train Your Dragon 2 broke my heart a little. The pacing was meh and there were moments that I didn't quite like as much, but overall it exceeded expectations and I loved it. Great movie, think I'll go see it again next week when I watch Maleficent.

I'm not sure whether or not I'll watch The Fault In Our Stars. On one hand, I'm curious (I wanted to see 1) if they could pull it off with that cast OR 2) how badly they screwed it up). Problem is that I don't want to pay money for that movie, so I might just see if there's one showing after another movie I want to watch more.

It was SO good. Really beautiful movie.
That's awesome to hear!! I was skeptical when I read the synopsis, but was going to see it anyway for the cast. But the trailer made me think that it could be a very good movie, and I'm excited to hear that you liked it. Definitely will see.

X-Men: Days of Future Past was pretty epic. Tied a bunch of things together and wove a new story. I recommend it, but if you haven't seen First Class, watch that first! :x

Saw The Fault in Our Stars...didn't like it at all. I did really like the book, mind you. It just didn't really have any of the charm the book did, and it was the first movie I actually just would've left the theater out of boredom and dislike. Which was disappointing, because I did really want to like it.

I liked the book much better. I loved it, at first. But when I saw it the second time, I didn't love it so much.

Hmm yeah, I suspected as much. I watched the trailer and cringed, and I don't care for the cast at all. The entire feel of it is just... bleh. Nothing about it that interests me, and I don't think it'd make me smile or cry. Which is why I don't care to spend money on a movie ticket for it, but at the same time I'm curious about how it turned out.

I think I'll wait for it to be available for download, maybe.

Exactly! I think they chose a really sucky cast. No interest in seeing it at all.

We almost never go to the theater but may make an exception when Maleficent goes to the $2 theater down the street lol. I really want to see it and Hannah really wants to see it. I'm half worried it might be scary for her but then I keep thinking... the scariest thing in the movie is Maleficent herself and she's Hannah's all time favorite character so I just can't see her being scared of anything she does :rofl1:

We watched Ted on PPV the other night... that's an hour and forty five minutes I'll never get back LOL

I watched World War Z, as I read somewhere about the zombies being pretty creepy in it, but then also went in wondering if I'd not like it as I also heard many people thought it was boring. I liked it though, wasn't spectacular, but I thought it was a fine movie to watch and didn't feel I wasted my time. The zombies weren't anything new, I didn't think, they were the horrible fast and agile ones, and those always are creepy. :p
