Saw the third Trailer Park Boys movie in the theatre a couple days ago. I LOVE TPB but this movie was pretty meh.
Aww I'm disappointed to see this. I didn't have high hopes, but man I love TPB. There are zero good comedies out right now.

I watched Blue Ruin the other night and I think it was pretty interesting. A revenge film where the protagonist was NOT a super crazy military trained badass is a weird difference from the normal, but pretty good. Under the Skin was trite. Didn't last a week in the theater around here.

Zero interest in any thing else thus far. SUPER stoked for Sin City in August. The next X-men movie looks awful, but I have a costume for the opening at work so I might see it.

I saw Godzilla on friday night, it was freaking awesome. I was in a giant IMAX theater, sold out, and everybody cheered at the end when, y'know, Godzilla uhhh, does something? :rofl1: Don't want to spoil it.

Just saw Frozen (belated I know). Pretty good, I really liked the take on love in this vs the typical Disney movie. Platonic love is important too!

I do wish really they'd animated the reindeer like a reindeer vs a dog.

I was kind of upset that the guy with sideburns turned evil. I was pleasantly surprised to see a guy with atypical grooming be Prince Charming at first. Not a biggie though.

With the way the movie progressed, I actually think it made a nice summer movie.

We saw the new X-Men movie on Thursday night. Being superhero movie junkies, we had a great time. Good action, nods to comic book origins throughout if you looked for them. Good times.

Godzilla is on our list, too.

At home, my wife took off on Friday and had Syfy on all day. Piranha, Super Piranha, Mega Alligator vs. Super Piranha. Stuff like that. She loves that "b movie" crap :)

I saw Frozen and liked it... would like to see it again because I didn't think it was OMG super amazing, but I was also multitasking while watching so I'd like to give it another chance.

I finally watched But I'm a Cheerleader! and enjoyed that one, too.
But I'm a Cheerleader is such a quirky movie, I love it.

The Departed rewatched it and still love it. I like the idea that people are not necessarily what they seem. Appearances can be deceiving.
The Great Gatsby entertaining. I like the soundtrack.
Wolf of Wall Street ugh. Beautifully filmed, creative camera stuff, great acting, but not any character that I liked or wanted to root for. Just hate the characters all around. Sort of felt cheated that there was so much female full frontal butn
