What % do you tip groomers?

First, how are 2 of your dogs only 10 dollars? you must have either found the nicest groomer ever, or you have some great dogs, lol.
tipping is not mandatory and is up to you. most single dog families usually tip between 2 and 5 bucks. i have a few that do 10 or 20 bucks for one dog. the only clients that usually tip more than that have more than one dog.
i would consider a 20 dollar tip for 4 dogs to be a reasonable deal.
however, im still wondering about the 10 dollar dogs, and drop off/pickup. is this a moble groomer? i dont know any groomers who charge only 10 bucks for a dog (unless its just nails?). if your groomer is giving you a good deal, then a higher tip is always nice.

I found a reaaaaally nice groomer! She has a shop, but she's willing to pick up the dogs in her minivan and drop them off.
$60 to cord Valentino, $45 for a ponydoodle on Pepe, and a basic groom for the Princesses. But yeah I was thinking to maybe tip higher, because its four dogs, not to mention cording one and trimming another, its a lot of work! On the website under the store's name, it says 'affordable pet grooming', so it might be that she just has cheaper prices.

I said it on the cording post, but ill say it here. There is something off about this groomer. i dont know any groomer, deals or not, who charge that low. i dont know how she would make any money charging that low for your dogs. 10 bucks for a bath/brush/groom on any dog is ridiculous in my opinion.

i know price is big deal to people, especially right now, but do realize that good groomers charge more b/c they know they are worth it. they know how many crappy groomers there are out there willing to do it for less, but know that the grooming and care given to your dog is better with them, so they charge more. when someone balks at their prices, they usally dont care and tell that person to find someone cheaper then. sometimes they do, and sometimes something happens to their dog (they get hurt, start acting out, etc) and they realize why they shouldnt have picked a place based on price. With how physical this job is, how expensive equipment is, how long it takes to groom (let alone cord) a dog, it really isnt feasable to only charge 10 bucks for a groom on a dog.
ok im done with my rant now. i just want to you be very careful about this groomer. honestly, if i were you, i would ask for reference from her customers, and ask around to different vet clinics/boarding facilities, etc. something fishy is going on here.

And I know as far as the ponydoodle, I got a quota from another groomer and they said the same thing. I don't know much groomers that would groom for under $15 for a basic bath, esp. anal glands expressed too however. But her regular bath is $15 and that includes clipping the paw pads, rear, face and tummy.

here at Critter Cuts we used to charge $10 for a short haired small bath, nails, and cleaning out the ears and brushing all included in that price. Now we charge $13 for a short haired bath.

Groom (nails, ears, anal glands, brushing, and hair cut) $30 unless matted, aggressive, or very hyper. then its usually $35
Bath and Tidy (trim feet, nails, clean ears, shave belly and butt, trim under and above eyes) $20 unless matted, very hyper, or aggressive, then price may go up $5 or $10 dollars.

Price probably does depend on your location. My groomer charges $30 for bath, brush, nails, and trimming Sienna's "socks." I don't know if that's average for my area or not, but it seems like a great deal to me! I usually tip $5 on the $30, I'm horrible at math so I'll let someone else figure out what percentage that is. 
I'm in SoCal which is usually an expensive area, but who knows. I chose my groomer based on proximity to work, not price, and they've been great so far. Maybe I got lucky.

Christmas time, I usually give $30 or so in a little card with charlies picture on it (my moms dog..the only one that habitually goes to the groomer) to his groomer. not the owner but to the woman that ALWAYS bathes, dries him by hand, and gives him his haircut
normally, I tip around $10. Charlie is a bichon frise and it takes a while to bathe, brush and dry him by hand and cut his hair so he looks likes a marshmallow lol
