What % do you tip groomers?

Yea, the owner of the business is already getting a "tip" just by being the owner, so handing them extra money is really unnecessary. If they needed more money they would raise their prices, since the owner is in control anyways.
Hmmm it's the owner of the store who is grooming my dogs.

I think that if you are happy with your groomer, owner of the shop or not than tip. Good groomers are like gold, and grooming is not an easy job. I work side by side with the owner of the shop I work in. We equally work just as hard and love what we do. I do not resent her making a tip, she has earned it. Sure, she makes more money than I do off a groom, but she aso pays all of the buisness bills.

I'm glad that my boss does not feel this way. If she raised the prices for her grooms than my grooms are increased in value aswell. I like my clients to be able to come and know they are getting a fair price on a QUALITY groom.

A tip is to show that you appreciate the service rendered, so if you appreciate it- show it!
