Auggie - mostly AKC agility; we are cleaning up the last few legs for his master's titles and from there it's looking for QQs and points towards a championship. HAHAHAHAHAH yeah right.
He also has one leg towards his RA... I don't travel just for rally so it's hard to get legs. I'm hoping to clean that up later. Not sure if we'll go further though, because I'd also like to get him his CD, and I need to work on that too. But he can do formal obedience when he's old and crusty and can't run and jump anymore, LOL, so I'm not exactly in a hurry. Dunno how much rally we'll do then really.
Herding is something we very rarely get to do but we need to do more of.
I would really like to have him do some flyball but there's pretty much no flyball around here.

Payton is the baby dog who hasn't done anything yet except terrorize me and my entire family. Agility will likely be his main sport, like Auggie. Rally will come, CD would also be nice (but once again, that can come when he's all old and crusty, not in a rush.) He has yet to be tried on sheep. We hope to put him in the confo ring too. We'll see.

Pepper I still have dreams about doing agility with her, but the truth is I'm just not sure she's the kind of dog who will ever be able to do it. One big male judge coming up on her fast while she's weaving or on a contact and I can just imagine her world ending. None of it matters. I love her anyway. So Pepper may "just" be my cuddlebug who gets to tag along and look pretty in her crate while the boys are crazy.

Right now Sam takes two agility classes a week and were definitely going to continue with that. He's in one Intermediate class and one that's more specialized to your dog so we took him back to some foundation stuff there.

My hopes for him are to get him trialing sometime between early september and early december, but we'll see where he is then.

I've thought about doing some freestyle or rally-o with him as well to improve his focus on me but it would mostly be an at-home thing. Agility is our main thing haha

Mine are all basically pets.

Ripley is not registered unfortunately (hoping he will be one day - long story), and so any plans I'd had for him are put on hold. I was going to show him, but got tired of waiting for registration and so I decided to neuter him, since he was starving himself anyway and being annoyingly grossly obsessed with the girls. I also had big plans for him to be my first real Obedience dog, and I'm really disappointed that I haven't been able to do that. He is so good at it and is such a good dog to learn on.

Dance is too people shy to accomplish anything I'd hoped for with her unfortunately. We've played a bit in Rally, and she almost has her RN title (could have had it by now if I'd entered her in more trials and didn't mess up the last one - she needs one more leg). I will get her the last leg for that title at least. And aside from that, as long as she has issues with people walking too closely or touching her, I doubt we'll accomplish any higher levels of Rally or any Obedience. I'm still working on it (people thing), but it's a slow go. What she does like is Agility, but I need to learn a lot more as far as handling her smoothly, haha. I would like to get her into Flyball but those classes interfere with work, and it'd only be for fun.

And Keira has always been just a pet. We never had any plans for her otherwise. I probably could do something with her if I really wanted to, but she's frustrating to work with and she's not really into anything.

I'm pretty ok with the girls just being pets. That's all I want from any of my dogs 99% of the time anyway. And I'm ok with Ripley being a pet too. I just wish I'd had a chance to achieve any goals I had with him, as I know he would've loved it.

My next dog will hopefully be my "do anything, take anywhere" dog. All of my dogs will mainly be active pets more than anything, but I really love Obedience and want a serious Obedience dog. And I might play in Agility and Rally and such with that dog, too. But Obedience is the only venue I really care about a lot. I'd love to give dock diving a try too one day if I ever have a dog that loves water again. None of my current guys do. And not for competetive sport, but I really want another dog to play Frisbee with again one day.

Does the CKC not have a program for unregistered purebreds like the AKC's PAL program?

Shamoo- She exists for the sheer awesomeness of being my best friend. We may, depending on her health, jump her at another dock or splash dogs event.

Arnold- He is retired and sleeps when he's not chewing up toys and causing trouble.

Backup- Try not to kill him. Obed, IPO, Agility, Dock dogs, whatever else falls in our laps to try.

Sloan- Continue her epicness. IPO, Agility, Obed,Dock dogs, Maybe conformation?

Ivan and I have done the conformation, might dabble in it to get his grand CH. As of next week we will be starting rally. So our(MY) next goal is to get him atleast 1 rally title to go after his name and to add to the CGC at the end of his name. After that its just fun stuff, biking, hiking, and swimming.
Peewee exists for me to feed him and let him out. At 14 hes not interested in much else. Can't say as I blame him, Hes raised 2 kids of his own and multiple extended family & friends kids.

Story of our life : Reactivity.
I consider him "cured" (I know that's the wrong word, but too tired to think of a better one) when it comes to people in 98% of cases now. Dogs in public...that's another story.

We do nosework training at home, but I'd like to get him back in a class setting.

My dream is to do agility with him. But honestly, if he's never ready and it doesn't happen, then I'll be fine with it.

Mainly these days we just do small hikes. I love it, he loves it, and that is all that matters.

All Dogs
  • Hiking
  • Amusing Me and Themselves. Not always at the same time.
  • Goofy Tricks
  • Useful Tricks
  • Tricks to Annoy my Husband
  • Generally enjoying life and each other

Competition wise...

Kim
  • Past
    • CGC
    • UKC Obedience -- Novice title
    • CPE Agility -- Played around at two trials. Had fun but not what I was looking for. Have 21 of the 24 legs of the Level 3 title.
    • APDT Rally -- ARCHX, RL3-COE, Nationally Ranked, etc. I didn't care for Rally though
  • Present
    • AKC Agility -- Nearly done with Master's Standard, already have Master's JWW. Will probably go finish the CL3 (CPE) title if a local trial coincides with a free weekend.
  • Future
    • Agility -- MACH. Maybe Nationals if it's in our part of the country sometime soon. Maybe Euk if we start laying down some serious consistency...we're still pretty green in the agility scheme of things.
    • Obedience -- CDX? Not sure if I want to go for this. Only thing she's lacking is a rock solid out of sight sit (she downs when I leave) and considering all she's overcome I really have no desire to get on her case over this, or have someone else do so in my stead.

    • AKC Agility -- Titled through Excellent in record time. Hasn't competed since.
  • Present
    • Hubby has claimed him as HIS dog. Webby thinks having his own human has its advantages, which he plays up for exactly as long as he thinks something is in it for him, then he comes to hang out with me...
    • Agility -- I steal him away to practice agility now and then to work on his skill set and help keep him fit. May steal him away to compete occasionally as well but no serious goals besides working together and having confidence.
  • Future
    • Who knows!

    • AKC Agility -- Titled through Excellent in a couple months. We are still very much so getting to know one another and loving it.
    • Dock Diving -- Did it once, haven't had a chance to do it again...yet. Very fun!
  • Present
    • AKC Agility -- Starting our MACH journey...hopefully later this month!
    • AKC Obedience -- Loosely training for CDX here and there.
    • Hunt Tests -- In training
  • Future
    • AKC Agility -- MACH. Nationals if it's in our general area. Maybe Euk. if we are showing serious consistency and I have the time & resourced to trial as much as that would require...tough to compete with the Californians and their trial schedules.
    • AKC Obedience -- CDX at least
    • Hunt Tests -- JH and WC at least
    • Conformation
    • More dock diving!

Kimma - I would LIKE to trial her in agility by the end of the summer, but I'm not sure she (or I!) will be ready. Hopefully at least by the end of the year. She will mainly be doing AKC. I would like to get her RA (got her RN three Qs in a row last October-November), and maybe start working towards her CD. I won't attempt either until we are in a class as I think she needs that type of distraction work. I also like teaching her random tricks, so we are always doing that.

Bubbles - Keep showing her in the conformation ring, and get more points towards her GCH. Continue to build her confidence. Show her at the Finnish Spitz National Specialty in September (the first I will attend!).

Pentti - Get him in a class (I've done everything with him on my own thus far, but like Kimma, I think he needs that specific type of environment to work in). Get his therapy dog certification. MAYBE try him back in the show ring.

Tiffany is my pet, snuggle buddy, therapist, and shopping partner. :D

I think it'd be kind of cool to see what she thinks of agility, not competitive, just for fun. I also kind of like....canine freestyle. I think Tiffany and I could totally dance to Lady Gaga or something.

They do, but in this particular situation, I think it'd be really rude of me in regards to his breeder to register him that way. I've definitely thought about it, but I just can't do that. I know he will get registered properly eventually, but I just don't know when. I've been told it'll likely happen this year, but I'm not counting it yet.

ETA: It might be different if I was mad at his breeder about it, didn't have a good relationship with her, etc. Basically surrounding circumstances and things out of a person's control is why he's not registered yet. It's just frustrating in the respect that I had a lot of plans for him and haven't been able to do any of it yet, but life happens and goes on.

Not to mention you'd have to lie and say he's a rescue in order to get them to accept it. That too is probably offensive to the breeder.

Agility Agility Agility! I hope to get Izzie's AADC and AGDC by the end of the year and then have her regionals ready for 2013.
Me too! We'll start trailing sometime this year, and I plan on competing in our Regionals for 2013, and Nationals depending on where they are. Maybe we'll meet at a Nationals event someday!

We snuggle on the couch and go for walks and run around the park like a bunch of weirdos.

That's really all I want and need to do with my dogs :)

Meg: The main goal is *done* at long last - she earned her P-ADCH last weekend. At one point, I had considered getting her MACH as well, as AKC courses are very well suited to her and I think she'd be able to do it more easily than the P-ADCH. But I don't enjoy the trials as much, and don't really want to put the money into it. I'll continue to go to my favorite USDAA trials and run the classes we both love (jumpers, standard, steeplechase, grand prix, snooker) and avoid gamblers at all costs :D. May put a few metallic titles on her in those classes. Oh, and we are doing a team tournament in a few weeks to hopefully finish up her Tournament Masters title. Otherwise, she is semi-retired, and will just keep being the Best Dog on the Planet.

Gusto: We are aiming for world domination, or at least surviving until he's trial ready:D He's so stinking fun to train. I'd like to have him ready to trial early next winter, but we'll see. He's not going out until he is good and ready and running at least Advanced level courses at home. There's a camp I want to take him to towards the end of the summer. I'd like to get him swimming this year as well. And teach him to heel, because I've never been able to train a dog to do it. But mostly, he is going to be my agility dog. If we both survive.

We are in the beginning stages of French Ring with both of our dogs. Ideally we want to title them both but I'm not sure how far I will get with Riley because of a few 'issues' he has. It may just take a long time that's all! Aura should have no problems! Hopefully she will get her Brevet this fall.

We plan on starting up tracking again this spring just for something to do and both dogs love it. I'd also love to do dock diving if the opportunity ever presents itself. So far I haven't found anywhere close by though and we travel enough for FR as it is.

Aura could probably rock Agility too so maybe in the future I will think about that as well.

My dogs, Collie excluded, are show dogs. I am getting that show ring itch right about now after a long winter with only one stinking show weekend. Once they finish, I plan on lure coursing and racing them. I also am hoping to get some rally titles on them eventually, Dixie girl included. But one step at a time.

Sprout and I at her very first show in the ring sharing a moment while the other dog is on the table.

Dekka: snuggle, spend every moment I can with. As for dog sports-agility, obedience, dock dogs, rally, racing, lure coursing, go to ground, and super earth..I think that's it. Plus film work. (and she has worked a couple of times, I am now to paranoid about something happining to her, so no more working)

Kaiden: chill with. Dog sports- agility, obedience, rally, racing, lure coursing, go to ground. He is the dog that Darien does all his Jr handling with.

Bounce: snuggle :) Dog sports- racing, coursing and agility. Will be doing rally and obedience. She does confo.

Dash: really starting to bond with Dash now that he is 'my' dog. Dog sports-racing and coursing. Will be doing agility, rally and obedience. He also shows confo. He is going to be siring some puppies next year.

Seren: Admire the sheer cuteness, snuggle and be annoyed equally lol. Right now she has done no dog sports. She was taken out to work by her breeder and didn't take to it right away (she is a bit flaky). We are going to try working her again this June. I am also going to show her confo and try go to ground this summer. I plan to do agility and rally with her. And if all goes well PUPPIES!
