Mom or mommy. I used to call her Momma too, but that is what i call my future MIL so i stopped as to not confuse her. I think i have called her by her first name only once in my life.

I called my mom Mommy as a kid and Mom now. if she`s not listening she gets the first name treatment. And if she`s being particularly annoying i call her MOTHER! lol

I want Fiona to call me Mama while she is young, young. I don`t know why. I like how it sounds. And I kind of like how Mum sounds over Mom too. But ... not picky.

I can't imagine being "embarrassed" by my kids calling me Mommy.........I think it's endearing :)
I think it was more the way that I would call her rather than what I called her hahaha.

You normally only hear a call like that from a child... not young adult HAHAHAHA

My kids call me Mommy--even my 21 and 18 year old sons--by their choice! I actually sign cards/notes to them as Mom. :) But it's up to them--and I guess I am a Mommy!
I still call my parents mommy and daddy. Don't really know why, just kinda how things worked out. I always thought mom and dad sounded too cold, so I never made the switch.

On the completely opposite end of the spectrum, I'll refer to them as "the mother" and "the father." They usually sign emails like that.
