I feel you - mine's quite long, too... Well, probably mid back. It's thick, out of control, and stuck between curly and straight. So I usually leave it down, some times I pin back my bangs, or leave it all loose and crazy.

Putting mine in a ponytail HURTS me, literally. I've cried trying to put my hair up, before. Sucks cause for work right now, it has to be up and in a bun to go under my day cap.

Another thing I sometimes do when it hurts too bad to put a normal pony tail up is a half pony tail on the top, and then take then bottom that was left loose and add it to the top half pony tail, so two pony tails, but they're semi secured together (all on the back of my head). It's different, and I'm VERY comfortable with my hair like that... Hmmm... maybe that's how I'll do it in the morning...?

Anyway, not much help, but I do feel you. ;)

I haven't read all of the responses but my hubby and SD are both loving my long hair and I am so ready to chop it all off!

Lately, I have been wearing low braided pigtails. I also sometimes do one braid on the back. It has been so hot that I can't stand to wear it down. Sometime I pull it all to one side in a neck level side ponytail.

I tend to get a headache if I wear mine high so that is why I go for all the low tails. :)

I always donate when I have a lot cut off...I've done it a lot :)
I looked at the In-styler but if you read the fine print it's $15 to try it for 30 days, then 3 payments of $40...that makes it $135 :yikes: (this is the straightener that rolls thingy as seen on TV lol)

I'm currently waiting on my braidini and hairdini to come in the mail. I've used the hairdini before and like it, so I hope the braid one works as well. :)

Here's a style that doesn't seem to require much hairspray :)
I swear, that's the process my hair goes through in the most humid August months. Starts off nice and straight like the ones on the sides then puffs up bit by bit as the day goes on. :rofl1:

I thought you could just buy the in styler in stores and not worry about the 30 day free trial etc etc stuff.
