More of Mira & Puppy. He is about 48 hours old in these pics. Loves motoring all over the kiddie pool and nearly escaped twice today. Pooping on his own a bit already. I swear this puppy was born a week old.

Mira is settling into motherhood and is being super sweet to her baby. She also attempted to dig a den under a spruce tree this morning, apparently deciding that she would like to go feral and raise her child in the wild. I nixed that plan

Oh my goodness he is precious! So weird to see a black puppy after all those white ones I spent time with.

Please keep us updated as much as possible as he grows into a big dog!

Boypuppy is doing well. His people are coming up with a name, still, so in the meantime he has gathered about a dozen nicknames, haha.

Thriving and busy-busy. Super snuggly with mom and people. Doubled his weight at six days so gaining well. Mira is now firmly a Supermom and dotes on him all day and night, bringing him things, making sure he wants for nothing.

I am back home now and missing them like crazy. July can't come soon enough! I have a pile of photos on my laptop which still need to be sorted through...will post as I do!
