See, I thought Hoover was a brand and that you were joking around saying you were hoovering because you were so proud that you had a good vaccum cleaner. Hoover is a brand of vaccum here. LOL!

Hoover is a brand everywhere I think, but we use it as a generic term for vaccum cleaners! And no Terrence (The Vaccum cleaner, yeah he has a name! ) is not a "Hoover" He's a cheap and cheerful one! lol! :D

it is an old thread from my beginning days, i will find it and then add the rest over the fourth.. a long and very creepy /sad tale of truth, satanism, animal sacrifice, and weird tall white hairy thing that Judy and her daughter told me about, then my son saw, and my daughter, each told me of it without knowing that the other had seen it. I don't go there anymore, there are somethings i don't want to see or feel or be a part of, but it happened and that is the worst part. I will go find the old thread now.

Weird thing i found in the woods..(i couldnt find the thread and it would take me longer to keep searching then to tell it again)
I was walking Bronki and Mary in the woods back behind the kennels one fall when i looked down and found a skull. I am always one to study bones but something was drastically wrong with this one and my mind had the hardest time accepting what i saw. A pie sized piece had been cut out of the top, you could see the small cross cut at the edge on both sides so it was absolutely done by a saw and nothing else. I studied the rest of the bones there, they had been there for a long time for nothing else remained. I knew the skull belonged to a dog, a very very large dog with a long nose like a collie or shepard for when i measured it against Bronki later than evening it was easily three inches longer and Bronki weighed in at 80 lbs. I noticed that several bones were not there at all like the toe bones, the rest of the skeleton had been scattered but was complete. I took the skull home and tried to report it. First i called the police who were not the least bit interested so the next call i made was to animal control. I felt so bad for i thought i knew what i was holding and i was right. An Investigator came out the next day. He said the skull belonged to an animal that had been an animal sacrifice. He had me take him to the site where i found this. He asked a lot of questions that i had no answers for and answered some of mine. I told him i was an animal illustrator and studied bones each time i came across, and that i noticed that some were missing, and found it odd that animals hadn't carted off others for rodents usually chew on them to get the calcium. He said that very special tools were used to open the skull, that the brains were ingested to help those that sacrified the animal to come out on the other side as a hound of hell..he said they also take the feet and other body parts but he didn't elaborate and i didnt' ask anmore except for one question..i asked him if they kill the animal first and he said NO before they begin this and he said NO. He told me to look for signs that they often hang them in trees before they have a "meeting" and said he was unable to catch whoever had killed this dog because it had happened so long ago, but to please keep my eyes open for he has been trying to catch them for quite some time. He asked me if he could take the skull and i sure as heck didn't want it.
I told my children what i had found and they said did you see the circles? and i said show me so my daughter took me down there. Across the creek from where i had found the skeleton and up the hill a little were three round foundations about 50 ft across that had graffiti all over them inside and out, the center full of gravel. I took pics of the graffiti inside as well as out and then we followed the trails that led from the circles, they were well walked trails as well, several of them and they all came out to the same place, a wide flat rock directly across from the bank of where i found the dog. It gave me the creeps so bad, i just cried, i wanted a priest with holy water, a st francis statue, anything to undo what i had forming in my mind from the obvious facts we were finding. I had the film developed and the pics are still here somewhere, i keep running across them and thinking i ought to scan them and then i don't and they get buried again, but when i had them developed there are two bright red lines that streak across the pictures making it totally impossible to read what is written on the inside of the walls. The outside grafitti came out and is readable, u can see the gravel and the leaves above the walls on the foundations of the ones that i took of the inside, but you cannot see anything that was written there, and they were in every pic and on the negatives as well. Mom said i should go back and take the pics again but i haven't..i don't want to go back there to the circles ever again. I did walk the path later that winter and found a dead pitbull that had frozen to death not two feet from where i had found the skeleton. It had dropped way down below zero the night before and he must have gotten out and died on that spot. I couldn't even free his collar from the ice. I never went back after that. The investigator did tell me to watch out on certain dates and said the coming millinium was a big event to the satanist, and so was halloween. I didn't want to go down there but at midnight on halloween i did drive by thinking that i could see cars if they had parked there..you could see from the road where they had driven in, the ground had lots of old tire tracks..i thought if i saw them i could report it to the police and maybe catch them in the act or before it happened..anyway there was nobody there and i was so relieved when i saw three little does tiptoeing their way out of the woods, in no hurry which meant that all was calm and quiet. So that is the story of what i found in the woods. This is a long thread so i will tell the rest of what people reported to me that they saw in my next post.

when I was 5 years old we moved into a house in a rural area just west of st louis missouri. our rear property line was also the property line for a privately owned peice of land that was just over 2500 acres. the first several years we didnt wander too far into the woods, as we didnt know the owners of that land yet, and had a lot of work to do cleaning up our own property (clearing brush, building a barn and fences, etc). well, I was probably around 12 years old (give or take a couple years) when we had permission to hike, camp, ride horses, fish, hunt, cut a few trees for firewood etc on that land when one day we were riding on what once was a wagon trail, now a deer trail which we widened a bit to accomodate riding our horses and we came into a valley (in itself nothing strange, hills and valleys all over the place) but the horses would not go into it. sometimes horses get spooked or just get testy and dont feel like it but something gave us chills, and we also had my german shepherd, my moms golden retriever and my brother jack russel terrier with us and they also wouldnt go into the valley. we ordinarily would have made the horses continue into it but decided to go around partly do to all the animals, and ourselves, being creeped out, and also due to the fact that this small valley was very overgrown with poison ivy, black berry bushes and other dense brush, and the deer trail went around the valley.
several days later I was playing in the woods with my shepherd, following a small creek, probably pretending to be davie crockett or some other wilderness character that fascinates young boys. suddenly my dog jumped in front of me sideways so his shoulder was pressed into my knees, hackles up and a low rumble coming from his chest (not so much a full growl but a growl that he wasnt sure if he wanted to let out) and when I tried to step around him he jumped in front again. all during this I had the same chill/goose bump feeling and realized it was the same valley where none of the animals were willing to go. due to being young and creeped out I walked quickly in the other direction constantly looking over my shoulder and feeling like I was being followed. 5 times my dog very quickly spun around behind me and gave a loud bark (the type he would give when someone was approaching our door) and would growl, slowly back away and then finally turn. it wasnt untill we got back home that his hackles went back down and he started acting normal.
that night we were outside late because our mare was due to foal any day and was pacing around and acting like it was time (as a side note she didnt have it for several more nights), it was around 10-11 at night and we started hearing barking, howling, and yelping a long way off (the creepy valley was about 1-2 miles from our house, probably no more than 1 mile as the crow flies, not sure). me, my dad, and my older brother grabbed flashlights and my dad grabbed his single shot 12 gauge and we went to investigate with my german shepherd, thinking one of our neighbors dogs got into a fight with a coyote or another dog, or got tangled up in some old strands of barbed wire we found now and then growing through trees. we followed the noises and came again to the creepy valley. this time my dog was on a leash incase we came to a frighten or injured dog, and once my dad and my brother walked into the wooded valley the dog was willing to cautiously go too. we didnt find anything but a clearing in the middle and a burned ring about 15 feet across. there were symbols carved and burnt into trees all around, but nothing else and no signs that anyone had been there for quite some time so we went back home.
the next day our neighbor who had lived there for over 12 years came by to see if we had a new born horse yet and we started talking about trail riding and he asked if we had tried to go into a little valley over in a direction where he pointed. we told him about our experiences and he said that about a month after he moved in he heard noises and called the police. they arrested 12 people who they caught butchering a live cocker spaniel. satanists. said they also found remains of several other animals. and after he went home he came right back and showed us a news paper clipping from that arrest, in the article it said that 30 years before this arrest 6 men and 5 women were arrested in the same place for killing a baby.
I beleive in the possibility of aliens, bigfoot, loch ness, and other unexplained phenomenon. because of that wooded valley, I deffinetly beleive in ghosts.

i am so sorry...if you felt like i did, it was a horrific experience. I am estatic that they were caught. I wish someone would catch the ones out here. The fact that i played in those woods, trained dogs 100 yards from there for years and knew nothing about it amazes me.I guess you would understand the most why i never went back to investigate further.

at the house i lived in before this one there was one experience i cannot explain. i had bought hyia a green john deere jeep and a rug that had little roads on it..she didn't care for it so the jeep ended up in the corner of the room under the dog toys that weren't being played with and the rug i used as a runner in the hallway to my room to protect the carpet from wet dog feet coming out of the bathroom. (it had a rubber back on it) so one morning when i opened my bedroom door the jeep was knocked away..it still had dust on it and there was no way it could have been picked up without leaving a print, i had gone to bed last so no one was in the house afterwards. AAron was downstairs and knew nothing about the jeep. Someone had taken the jeep and put it flush against my door. There were other things that happened, but that was deffinatley one that didn't make since. After Jim died i thought i saw a large whitish form his size in my bedroom doorway one night as well.nothing solid, just a haze. I don't Not believe in anything INCLUDING ALIENS becuase how would i know....i know one night i was driving thru fog and kept feeling like there was going to be an animal run across the road even tho i had no reason to think this and i kept slowing down feeling sillier and sillier until i thought good grief i am going 10 miles an hour when a deer jumped right over the hood of my cvcc honda. I told my kids if you ever have a feeling dont discredit it..strange things do happen. One day i will dig up the thread about what i found in the woods and tell you the rest of that story

I remember reading that thread. It was VERY creepy.

Yes me too! I bet that was so scary to come upon, also you probably had such a sad feeling for the animals that were sacrificed. I can't imagine how I would feel if I came upon that. I imagine I would find it extremely upsetting.

it was very upsetting and sad. partly because anytime we went near there we felt like we were being watched, even before we had the slightest idea of what may or may not have happened. of course terribly sad for the dogs, other animals and human baby. but always felt like something or something was there watching. wether it was the spirits of the animals that were sacrificed, some remnant of evil thoughts, or the woods themselves that remembered, or what it was I cant say. maybe just some instinctive knowledge on a primitive/subconscious level that bad, horrible things had happened there? or maybe it was haunted by the spirits of the sacrificed (wether evil or good) or haunted by some evil sprirt braught out by the rituals??? I just know something was there. the only way to describe what I felt is scared and sad, but too the point that I didnt know really what I was feeling, and feeling it to the point of nausiea (spelling?)
we did carry a st francis statue down there, and we carved crosses into the trees, made a huge cross about 20 feet long out of rocks, across the center of the black, burnt fire ring.

Oh wow, I am glad you did that with all the crosses, maybe it will ward off evil people and evil spirits and let the animals and the human baby that died there rest in peace.

you did more than me, i didn't do anything but check when i drove by...mostly i stayed away completely and kept my dogs away as well. Believe me hearing about it and holding that skull in my hands is two different aspects. I don't want to know that there is evil like that not only on earth, but at the end of my street.
When my daughter was at the park one night..a different park further up the road she said they saw something very tall and white, and that it chased them. I dismissed what they said as too much imagination and wacky teenagers..then Judy, my old boss's daughter in law asked me if had seen the tall white she said this was going to sound stupid but kangaroo, she said that was the closest thing she could think of to describe it. That she and her daughter had both seen it in the park on a couple of occasions, but both times too far away to see detail. Then one morning Aaron went to his bus stop for summer school...th bus stop directly across from the park where i found the skull and said he saw something very tall and very white walk out of the woods. That would have been before 7 am. So that is the rest of my story...what ever it is, i am not curious enuff to go find out.

Gustav?I know how to see a ghost.Look over your left shoulder and half close your eyes.See if you can see anything strange out of the corner of your eye.
