We have a GHOST!

Ok this is going to sound really silly, but we have a ghost! I was hoovering today (vaccuming!) and suddenly the hoover turned it's self off, I thought that's wierd, and looked at it and the button that presses in when it is on had popped out, so I pushed it in again and I started hoovering again, a couple of minutes later it stopped again, by this point I was thinking oh great there's something wrong with the hoover, and my parents are arriving tomorrow and i'll have no hoover, how am I going to pick up the dog hair?!! *Hyperventillating* So I pushed the button in and it started working again, this time it lasted 5 mins before switching off, and I thought that's IT! I'm taking the switch out and having a look at it! There is nothing wrong with the switch what so ever!!!!
SO I jokingly said "Gimme a Break! I need to get this finished!" and the hoover has worked fine since then!! It's not the only thing odd that has happened in this house, I sometimes hear singing, and Martin said when I was sleeping once I was talking to someone in French!! Odd or what!!

It's my Christian religion....I don't believe in any of that stuff. I don't believe in telepathy, ghosts, vampires, etc. at all.

I have to agree with gaddy....I'm more of a practical thinker. Ghost's, vampire and things like that just seem to far fetched to me, but aliens....I believe in aliens!!
Oh and I'm not Christian so that's not it.

My hairdresser used to have a ghost in his shop. His shop was actually a bedroom in an old house. WHen he washed my hair we would go to the bathroom at the end of the hallway. (a little info) Anyway...the they actually did some research on this house and a child had died in it a long time ago. So...they believe that the child (spirit) is still there. They had a beach ball and they would put it up on the shelf when they would leave and when they came in the next day the beach ball had been moved. It would be like in the center of the room or over in the corner. But it never failed it was always moved. They would also hear footsteps when they were there alone. Oh...and doors would shut on their own. Gus...I believe you. I guess your ghost wanted to play with you. Atleast it let you finish "hoovering"! (i love that)

I think there may be ghosts... I doubt the werewolves and vampires though.

Well..there are always things...so very hard to explain, so I keep an open mind. BUT..darn it..IF I ever have a ghost...that little sucker better clean or do something useful. AND...better not be the kind of ghost that wants to keep you up at night...that would just make me tooooo cranky. LOL

at the house i lived in before this one there was one experience i cannot explain. i had bought hyia a green john deere jeep and a rug that had little roads on it..she didn't care for it so the jeep ended up in the corner of the room under the dog toys that weren't being played with and the rug i used as a runner in the hallway to my room to protect the carpet from wet dog feet coming out of the bathroom. (it had a rubber back on it) so one morning when i opened my bedroom door the jeep was knocked away..it still had dust on it and there was no way it could have been picked up without leaving a print, i had gone to bed last so no one was in the house afterwards. AAron was downstairs and knew nothing about the jeep. Someone had taken the jeep and put it flush against my door. There were other things that happened, but that was deffinatley one that didn't make since. After Jim died i thought i saw a large whitish form his size in my bedroom doorway one night as well.nothing solid, just a haze. I don't Not believe in anything INCLUDING ALIENS becuase how would i know....i know one night i was driving thru fog and kept feeling like there was going to be an animal run across the road even tho i had no reason to think this and i kept slowing down feeling sillier and sillier until i thought good grief i am going 10 miles an hour when a deer jumped right over the hood of my cvcc honda. I told my kids if you ever have a feeling dont discredit it..strange things do happen. One day i will dig up the thread about what i found in the woods and tell you the rest of that story

I don't believe in Ghosts and stuff like that (monsters, vampires, etc.) and I don't believe in aliens, but I do kinda believe in the Loch Ness monster. I think it could be a dinosaur. Because me, being weird, think that some small (like not T-Rex or anything like that) dinosaurs still exisits today in the deepest parts of the ocen, or the deepest most remote parts of the jungle. But then, that is me.
