Well, after much debate over whether to take him to the vet or go to work, I opted for the wait and see with Ares and went to work. I'm home now, and he seems about the same.

His attitude and appetite are good. He seems to have a stomach ache, and is quite sore in his hind legs and had two peeing accidents today. So I am somewhat clueless as to where the problem originates from, but I'll keep an eye on him for now and see if he needs to go to the vet tomorrow.

Poor guy, two accidents?
That's probably very hard on him too :( I know when Phoebe is ill and has an accident, it bothers her terribly and she seems "ashamed" when I clean it :(

I will continue to keep him in my thoughts for a good night and better tomorrow.

Thanks everyone!

He's hurting...he's trying so hard to not show it, but his eyes give him away. I hope a good night's sleep helps him out.

A-w-w-w...poor guy. I wonder if he has a bladder infection. I sure hope he'll be okay. Do let us know. Sending lots of positive vibes his way.

It very well could be a bladder infection/UTI. He's also acting mildly constipated and is reluctant to sit. He was licking his sheath and groin area quite a bit last night and when I tried to look at it, he hollered and tried to bite me.

How is he doing this morning?
Slightly worse. :( The actual symptoms are about the same, but he's now a bit depressed. He even tried to sleep in this morning, which is unheard of in this dog! I couldn't get an appointment with the vet today without calling it an emergency and paying a lot more, and I don't think it is critical enough for that, but if he worsens I'll change my mind. I have an appointment for tomorrow.
