Unfortunatly both my cats are on shitty vet diets the one for chronic crystals and gall bladder stones and the other for Irritable Bowel diesease which I have been trying to convince my mom to let me switch her off of. The one food has rice protein and the other corn gleutin.

Oh no!

My dogs food is on this list. What should I do now?? My vet and I just put him on the duck and potato dry to determine what he is allergic to because the Candiea made him lose hair and gave him a horrible rash that was moisty. He is doing well on this, do you think its okay? I don't want to take the chance but my money is running out because it seems like I've spent a lot of money on switching food alone. Any suggestions??

If your dog has been on the recall food you NEED to take them to the vet and run blood tests on him for his liver and kidney functions.

This is the ONLY to determine if hes been affected by this recall.

THEN.. IF they find out the functions aren't great, then treat your dog appropriately.

This is completely insane! Thanks to the moderators for posting and updating this critical thread! So scary. We changed brands five times to jump ahead and stay off of products on that list, and the list keeps getting longer. Grr! I have finally switched to a fish-based dry diet. [All my dogs have some special dietary needs so this was the best I can do for the time being] but what a colossal mess! And what a miserable industry.
