This is getting pretty scary. :(
Even though my food hasn't been addressed or included in the recall, every time I scoop some kibble I get a sick feeling. . .:(
Is there some master list of foods affected by the recall? That article says there are over 100 brands involved. . .:(

I totally expect it to get much worse. Sad but true. I feel we will see humans sick as well but will we be told the truth and will we know ?? I think not. I have started throwing out all processed things. Read your box of Special K cereal. Wheat Gluten. Read your twinkies etc.

What really irritates me is how these companies are waiting for the FDA to recall their foods when they could do the honorable thing and recall these foods far sooner by testing themselves and coming clean.

I notice that the Chenango NY plant is now involved. They are the other outsource manufacturer that competes with Menu Foods. I think they make Science Diet too. These companies just don't want to come clean unless the FDA finds out what's in their foods. Till then they knowingly keep their crap on the shelves. That's the way it looks about now.

Exactly, they already know the sources of tainted products.....should have been more proactive.... then again, they are mostly out for making money when they do not care about the ingredients that make their pet food .... so not surprised they are just waiting "in line" and not taking action tat can jeopardize their biz....

With so many sites with the tainted list, i figured to get the master list, best to head to FDA site for complete list as I trust that they update more regularly then others.

Also, read pet food labels and be careful even giving them even commercial treats now....coz we dunno wat else could be tainted...

I saw a report yesterday on tv where the Chinese said they have been using this for years and if so why all the problems so recently? Have there been problems all along and no one noticed the connection?
