Thanks, Hayley, I am too. Trip to the vet today went great, vet was impressed with how energetic, happy, and fearless he was. Said he'll be just fine but again mentioned no running or rough play for a while. We're doing short walks on grass and stretching exercises several times a day and starting to look at the possibility of a chiropractor to help.
Monkeys - Haha, don't worry, I'm the same way! In person and individual chat I have an awfully foul mouth.
I say a lot of bad things about my sister, but in reality we're closer than most. We have a good relationship, just very differing personalities. After talking to her I do think she understands now. As far as schools go, the truth of it is is that I did consider the possibility of staying in Oregon, but my parents will not allow it. They were pushing for the "big name" schools I got in to, I was pushing for close to home, dog friendly. A school in Michigan or Minnesota is going to be the compromise - better academically than the Oregon schools but very dog friendly with multiple options for housing so I can take Trent with me. If I went to the East Coast I would not be able to take him.
Where do you live? If you are interested and it flys with Steven, I may be able to look after him for you for the first year. I'll be getting my GSD from my breeder here in a month or two hopefully, and we're going to be doing Schutzhund and Rally, having one more dog isn't a terribly huge deal lol, that is, if you're close enough or interested. I can't remember where you live though
Thank you for the offer! It means a lot to me
(and did someone say GSD puppies in a month or two?!??)
However, I live in Oregon and am looking at schools in MI and MN. The rest of my family originally pushed for schools in the Northeast. Thank you for offering though, you are incredible for wanting to take on this lovable tank of energy and occasional insanity!
