Well, I still don't think a number automatically means anything. (Ive got 45).

My cats are not very old either. The oldest is 10 and the 5 youngsters are not even a year yet, so I will have a large number of cats for atleast the next 10-15 years lol. I usually have comments to say when people automatically assume because they don't have space, or they don't have the means to care for their 2 (Just an example) cats that I clearly can't care for mine. Cause hey, everyone can handle the same amount of pets, just like every breed of dog is right for everyone.

I totally understand and Argee hun. I have 30+ snakes not counting other pets.

BUT this lady isn't you. Shes nine months prego and works full time. She rents her home. She is being investigated by AC.

None of those things make her a hoarder in my eyes, BUT she is definetly in a situation where she should rethink how many animals she should own.

Not to mention she's already moved in attempt to avoid AC, the pitties aren't getting sufficient exercise, they have already eaten a mattress, they ruined a floor in a rental because she is afraid to bring them outside enough times for them to "go" in the proper place, and she's using one crate for two pitties and leaving them unsupervised while they're crated together. :yikes:

You're certainly right ... her situation is vastly different than Punkygirl's!! PG is in a position to provide proper care and housing for all her animals but the woman you are talking about clearly is not.

I would move her from the "dog savvy" list first. then I'd see if I could find her another crate. she's playing with fire. I don't even double-crate my toy poodles, and my crates are all for labs or bigger.
