OC is afraid of the vaccum and lawn mower. He doesnt freak out, he just moves away from them if they get too close.

Ronan, is scared of strangers man-handling him. Not bring rough just physically trying to force him to do something (ie if a vet tech were to lift him on to the exam table, or somebody were to try to force his butt down after he denied their "sit" command). he is also scared of thunder.

Both boys are scared of the baby gate we have as well as the board we use to lock them from going into the foyer/living rom/upstairs. We only lean them up against the door frame so when each dog tried to test them to see if they could get to the other side they fell on them. Not a bad thing as they won't try to go through them now. They know they can, but they respect them.

Lets see

pretty much all of theme except Harry (11 year old dachshund) and Lucy (Chihuahua) are afraid of big dogs. They run, and scream bloody murder when a large dog is trying to play with them. Me and my mom's fault..most were not well socialized around large dogs as puppies.

Harry is also deathly afraid of heights.

Let's see:
One is afraid of the vaccum - runs away from it every time it is on; same one is "worried" about anything big and new that comes in the house.
All were scared of a r/c tank but 2 now attack it when given the chance.

2 out of 3 aren't scared of anything really.

Brutus is Terrified of the vacuum.. absolute hatred. He see's it.. if i Leave it in the living room, he will avoid the room, if i start running it. He bolts to his kennel, hides and doesn't come out until i come to get him and have the vacuum away. I haven't seen him act worried about anything but that. The neighbor's cat sure gives him a run for his money though. Our cat.. he thinks he owns it.

Milo is fine around the vaccuum and fireworks. No problem. But he does have a strange fear of feathers -- like, feathers lying in the road or the gutter. He's better about it now, but used to be that he wouldn't continue walking down any sidewalk or road if he couldn't get a 5-foot berth or more from a feather. I find this fear particularly entertaining since he is so fluffy himself.

One night, when I used to live in a guest house, the floodlight had gone out. I got home from work and took him out to potty in the nearly pitch dark. The second he got to the edge of the lawn, he started jumping around. He'd take a step or two onto the lawn, then yelp and jump back to the sidewalk. I remember thinking, "Oh great. The landlord put fertilizer down and didn't tell me."

Well, lo and behold, we went out the next morning and I realized that a neighborhood cat had killed a bird in the yard and there were feathers EVERYWHERE on the lawn. It was like Milo's own little personal horror movie! Well, there was no way to clean them all up so we used that as his desensitization for a week and since then he's much better.

I still can imagine him innocently stepping onto the lawn in the black of night, only to be confronted with his WORST NIGHTMARE! (cue "Psycho" music here -- EEE EEE EEE EEE!)
