Hey Jess, I got a duck for Tira and Gunner that is just like yours but with a purple head! Even though the play baby tug of war with it it's still in one piece...but it has only been a few days. I've had to resew part of a wing, back and the ducks butt crack, but it's still whole and squeaky. LOL :)

He is a little devil. But, a sweet little devil. He is ACD, and apparently some BC thrown in there. So he is an ABCD dog.

OMG... I think Chloe has gotten her mouthiness from the GSD side of her family..because labs are supposed to have "soft mouths" but she definitely does not

These 2 have soft mouths all right...except when they play tug of war...then it's every duck for himself! :) The duck is our "dead bird" retrieve, everything else is our "fetch it up" retrieve. Gunner, still a baby now mind ya, has a softer, gentler mouth on retrieves than Tira does sometimes. Tira is usually very gentle, 95% of the time. But every so often she'll feel the need to jump over Gunner, look at him, shake whatever is in her mouth at him and run to "give" it to me. LMAO It's like she's taunting him.

Awww, Jess that is so sweet. He does deserve a goodloving permanent owner.

I can't sleep so I snapped a couple more pictures of the monsters. Both tuckered out after tearing up my pillows. Apparently shredding feather pillows is hardwork.

Spike on a Blanket

As you can see he is resting quite comfortably.

Brutus still has feathers hanging out of his mouth. They are now in the den.

You would think after cleaning up the pillows I would be able to sleep...but, it hasn't worked yet.

I don't know how many feathers Brutus and Spike ingested, but I hope they don't sprout wings and decide to fly away.

Me too. He has had a rough life to be so young. Poor baby. He has been beaten and starved, but he gets fed now, and I let him in at night, so I know he is safe. And he is housebroken...yay!

I just think he needs someone fulltime to look after him. His own permanent home, not just a part-time home.

At least they were the old pillows and not the new ones...but, I loved my feather pillow. The new ones aren't as comfortable. Oh, well they are long gone now.
My pillow has been with me for over a decade, and I love it ... accept no substitutes! Not even sure it qualifies as a pillow any more, it's basically like laying on nothing. How attached we can get to such silly things.
