Phoebe would chase, and if it stops running she nudges it to get it going again, LOL. She has no interest in hurting one but she does love to run!

Orson would definitely chase, he barks at all squirrels, cats, little dogs..........I have no idea if he would do harm or just chase as he has never had the opportunity to be that near.

Meg would stay right where she is, nubbin going 100 miles an hour, and serenade the kitty. She absolutely adores cats, but has been smacked before so she won't go in touching range. She makes an isane, half howling, half singing sound when she sees them:rolleyes:.

Bodhi wants to smother it and lick it's ears clean.

Or play with it - depends on the cat.

Bruzer would run away. Daisy and Gunnar would chase. I wouldn't put it past Daisy to kill it if she got it, based on her bird killing episodes last summer. I think Gunnar would be more into the chase, he's had opportunities to catch cats before and he didn't try and kill them.

Phoebe will run into it's face, realize it has claws then fear it for the rest of her life.

Max would have chased the kitty so he could give it a bum sniff.

Jazz is obsessed with cats. They run she chases. She will leave FOOD to chase a cat. Catch it then lick it. Or if it doesnt run she will bow to it. But she will bow then stand then bow about 20 times. each time hiting the ground as hard as posible. The cat will be smacking and clawing her and her tail is wagging and shes still licking it.

if it's just standing there...

roofus will bark and lunge for it (want to play with it), Popper will bark and drag me after it (not sure what he wants to do with it), Merlin would hide behind me because he's afriad of it, Murphy and Blossom would both try to kill it. Murphy is a known kitty killer.

I realy don't know what mine would do. They haven't had any experience with cats. Some times they just stare at it, like what in the world is that?LOL when we got to petsmart. But I realy don't know what they would if they were next to one.

Depends on where it is at...if it is in the street, Vic will look but not budge, Mary would ignore it and pepper is learning real fast to do the same. If it is in our yard however it best run for the nearest tree.

If it's one of *our* cats, then nothing, generally. Though occasionally Luce will chase them for sport.

But cats that are not family? Luce wants to eat them. Mushroom wants to eat them. Harv probably wouldn't notice.

KC will play bow butt in the air, howl/bark a few times, when the kitty doesn't play him he will sulk for a few minutes then go about his business.

Chiana will do the head tilt thing, and stand completely still until it runs...then she'll either flail about on the end of the leash or look me completely dumb founded.

Niko, if the kitty is outside and he's not will run head first into the storm door, has done this a few times...if he's outside he will give chase, catch the kitty, lay his paws on it and give it kisses, until said kitty swats him on the nose, he then gives the WTF/why so mean look and let the kitty go

A. Leave it
B. Love it
C. Possibly chase it if it's all in jest.

They learned quickly that cats are a force not to be reckoned with.

Brutus will try to play with it if it's our housecat shadow.. as he's used to him...

if it's an outdoor cat, he'll try to attack...
if it's our inlaw's outdoor cat.. he'll run away like there was an alien chasing him...

Loki would tease it mercilessly and try to get a reaction, but wouldn't hurt it. The other two would be ready for a go, methinks. With Terra, it would be like intent play that escalates, and Priest would stalk with intent to, well, not make nice.

Mine would all ignore them lol. They have gotten bored with kitties...considering I have 20 of them. All but a few were raised around cats, and the ones who were not (Harry and Brad) are not the harming a small animal type of dogs. But my dogs would chase and kill any other small animal.

If he's wearing his vest, he won't even look at it. If he's just playing around in the yard he will run on top of it and chase it up a tree.

One time I watched him chase a cat up a tree and he ran up the trunk about nine feet :lol-sign: and got his front legs up on top of our neighbor's garage before sliding back down again. When he catches them he LOVES them. Cleans them up, plays soft mouth etc. It doesn't matter if it's a strange cat or our cat.
