Booger will freak and knock himself out trying to get it (he's already done this twice.)
Doom will calmly sniff it and possibly cuddle if its sleeping.
April will ignore it, and so will bear,
Bobsie will go after it, but only to get it away from her. Once its out of her sight, she doesn't care any more.
Our current foster I caught sleeping in Sally's bed with her the other day. LoL

Snip will go balistic (he loves kitties-but in a fatal ultimate squeeky toy sort of way)

Kaiden will run at it to see if it runs away. If yes-CHASE If no ignore
Scandal will bark (that is her standard response to life)
Zo will run in circles around the cat (running in circles is what Zo's do best)
Bounce would drop into a play bow.
Dash would watch it worriedly-those things have sharp bits!

Dance would growl, put her tail between her legs, and hide behind me. She's met too many grouchy cats in her life and is terrified of them.
Winston would sniff it or ignore it completely.
Keira would want to play with it.
Morgan would chase it and probably injure it. She's constantly trying to chase smaller animals.

Kona would chase it -and not in a good way.
Bosco - if it ran he'd probably chase it, otherwise he'd bark at it and if it still did nothing he'd ignore it....although the only cats he's really run into are ones that dart past us on walks, so I'm not really sure -anything that 'darts' is chase-worthy.
Although he has almost weird lack of interest in squirrels -he's more interested in chasing birds and bugs. LOL

LOL! This happens ALL THE TIME on our walks.
Mochi freezes, 'like ZOMG! Did U see that??!?!!1' Then he will keep walking with me, but he keeps looking over his shoulder, and occasionally walks into a pole while looking back at the cat.
Mochi has also been assaulted my at least 3 or 4 cats that he did not see until the jumped at him...
Kena gets tunnel vision, and will stalk the cat. I need to drag him away. If he was not on lead, he'd rush the cat and try to pin it by the back of its neck in play, or he will paw at it. Cat's don't really dig that.
Cricket is pretty oblivious too. There was a cat in our pet feed store last night and he passed it 2 or 3 times w/o noticing it. He does love cats though, and would likely try to wrestle with one.

Gonzo will freeze in place, and stare down said cat... for hours on end. If cat moves, he will slowly follow, and procede to stare. If said cat attempts to initiate contact, he will tuck his tail pathetically, move a few feet away, and carry on with the staring.
Fozzie will find a way to convince the cat to play. Even cats that despise dogs, for some reason, will end up playing with him. ;3
