Yarrow loves rolling in gross stuff. He's found all sorts of horrible decomposing things, that require multiple baths. He also rolled in human feces, and it was on a hike so we had a long drive home afterwards. SO GROSS.

Jasper would never dream of rolling in something gross (he doesn't even like to get his feet muddy), and Onyx just isn't as obsessed with it as Yarrow.

Smiley has rolled on dead birds a few times, and one unidentifiable carcass.

My old dog Mitch takes the cake though. He didn't roll in it, but he ate human diarrhea and vomit that he found under a bridge one time. That's the only thing I wasn't able to call him off of...I wouldn't let him lick or kiss me for months after that.

Dead fish.

Dead squirrel.

A slug... Which doesn't sound that disgusting, until you've had to try desperately to get it out of matted cocker hair :rofl1:

THere is something beyond disgusting in the smell of a snake when it is rotting. I don't know why, but it takes holding your nose out the car window to not pass out until you can get the dog bathed. Mole poo too, green slimey, sickly sweet smellng oily nasty stuff that VIctor use to target like a magnet. At least I think it is mole poo. I was always going to try to invent the non role collar, but I never got around to it. Mary was a huge culprit of the stink. SHe got a lot of baths before she got too old to drop that first shoulder. Victor can even manage to get it inside of his ears.
