Do you understand why people worry if you go to a responsible breeder or not? Because irresponsible breeders produce dogs that are of poor health and temperment. From my own experience, it is painful to lose an old dog who has lived a good life... but to lose a dog who has barely reached mid-life due to a genetic condition that could have been avoided being passed on with proper testing is a TRADGEDY! Our companions barely live long enough as it is... if you are going to go to a breeder why take the chance of getting a dog that will have a poor temperment and only live half as long as the breed could?!
I think you need to be a bit more analytical in looking for a breeder. What health testing does she do specifically? What tests has she had done on the parents? Ask for copies of the results. If you don't know what this means, I'm sure there are people here that would be more than willing to help you decipher the results.
Why doesn't she show? Showing is a testement that she is taking the time to prove her dogs are the best examples of their breed. That there is a reason, other than them being "cute" that their genes should be passed on.
She appears to have a wonderful photographer.... but does she really have wonderful dogs? To me it is a crime that someone is breeding goldens that are so far from standard. Wonderful pictures, UGLY goldens, imho.
This is more what a golden *should* look like:
