I'm not a fan of hot drinks (can handle hot cocoa but that gets old after awhile) and everyone at my school is simply in love with tea.

My allergies are starting to get really bad and that means I get congested a lot (I have horrible allergies). And hot drinks seem to help.

Anyways, the point of this was.. what kind of teas do you drink/like? I am forcing a cup of lipton's down my throat right now and I already feel better, but it's just so... blah.

I can't have a lot of caffeine either (shouldn't have any, really) so that's a big deciding factor also.

Help? Please? TIA.

I like jasmine green tea, stash's chai and some apple cinnamon blends. I can't stand lipton's tea or red rose... or most of the generic brands. I drink a lot of peppermint tea for my stomach and I'll buy that in generic. It's not so bad.

I don't tend to drink hot drinks either and I hate iced tea. When I do drink tea its just normal tea with a tea bag, milk and hot water.

The tea I drink the most and my current favorite tea is chamomile with honey in it.

Mmmmm I LOVE tea though I am not a fan of regular tea, only herbal tea. A few of my favourites are: Jasmine, Green Tea, Chamomile, Fennel, Peppermint, Orange Tang, and Early Grey. There are a few fruity ones I really like but cant think of their names ATM. As much as I hate it, I have to admit that a hot cup of Lemon Zinger with freshly squeezed lemon juice and honey does wonders if you have a cold. I prefer my tea without any sugar or cream/milk but if I have a craving for a bit of sweetness I will add honey. If I''m sick and drinking tea I will add honey that has eucalytus (sp?) in it.

Yeah, I love honey and add that to make it taste a little better for me.
I've never heard of so many teas before... where should I go? Just any grocery store? *clueless*

I drink Earl Grey...steeped for a good long time. a dash of milk, a spot of splenda. :) Dave & I have hot tea every day...no matter the season. he likes green tea, but I think it tastes like yukky 'funny' hot water. LOL we haven't missed tea after dinner in decades. I have decaf for afternoon. yep...I confess...totally addicted to hot tea. and I also have severe allergies, and it helps me alot to have hot tea along with decongestants.

Depends on the grocery store but they usually have the standards brands. I like stash teas the best.

I like earl grey too and lady grey if anyone has tried that. Those and green teas aren't herbal Ren FYI :)

I like Constant Comment--it has an orange spice flavor to it, for hot tea. Iced tea--sun tea is easy and yummy!

Definately go to the store and look for a flavor that appeals to you...if it sounds like a flavor you like, most likely you will :p. Ive seen some teas with artificial crap in them, so id stay away from those...

Just look for fruit spiced teas...they are always so delicious!!!

ooh! i am going to go make tea right now...im gonna make my very last tea bag of orange spice white tea...i stole some from home...and i have no freaking clue where to buy them :( But yeah...white tea is really good cause its just so mild

I like stash teas the best, too. My favorite lately has been peppermint tea, but any citrus spice tea is delicious. I actually really like this one tea, I forget who makes it but it's called "white christmas". It's really mild white tea, with just a little bit of peppermint flavor. Love it before bed.

I use Stash orange spice tea for my sun tea. But if I can't make sun tea, my iced tea has to be made hot and extra-strong (two teabags to a cup instead of just one) then poured over a cup full of ice.

Earl Grey is my favorite too. Constant Comment is yummy and smells sooo good. I also like Irish breakfast or English breakfast...those really good ones. But Earl Grey is somehow my fav. I really prefer loose tea that you put in one of those little strainers. It just has more flavor. The caffiene is often what makes the allergies feel better or if you have a little headache. Black tea is really good for you. I like green tea too, but it's not as full flavored as the black, I don't think. I almost always have a cup or two in the afternoon....sort of a pick-me-up.
