So who all's got ink? I have five total and am looking into my next two. I have a butterfly on my lower back, a lizard around my belly button, a fairy on my chest, and a large fairy piece on my upper back (in memory of my friend Debbie who passed) and a flower on my neck.

I am looking into a hummingbird in memory of my grandpa and Lilly of the Valley's or lilac's in memory of my aunt who just passed in July (she was like a mother to me).

Who want's one and whats stopping you.

Who wouldn't ever think of one and why?

I don't have one. I think they can sometimes be cute but they hurt and I don't want it when I'm old and wrinkly and I wouldn't want to have to get it removed.

I wouldn't get one. I'm not into the whole thing of self inflicting pain. ;)

Though, if I honestly ever were to ever get a tattoo, there'd only be one thing that woudl be worth the pain. And that would be a tattoo that had somethign to do with my faith.

I would like one, but I haven't ever been able to let go of the money for a tattoo.

I don't find them to be painful, now labor and birth on the other hand, that's some self inflicted pain:D .

I also like the idea of something to do with religion. Especially since most of mine are memorial tattoo's to people I have loved and lost.

I'd like to have one, but I don't know if I'll ever get the guts up to actually do it. I'd like to have something doggy, one of the horses i drew up a few years back and i've been playing with the idea of getting a small cross done in the center of my chest for a few years as well, but don't know if i'd ever go through with that. I want to be able to hide them and only show as I want to.

*raises hand*

I have two.

One on my ankle-two angels holding a heart with a cross in the middle...

And a swirly heart thingy on my back...

The one on my ankle was uncomfortable, not necessarily painful. The one on my back hurt like &%@#!>?$%^^@%#!!! WOWZA. Lol...but, I am happy with both of them and if I could go back in time, yadda yadda, I'd do it all over again, especially my first one, which was the one on my ankle. :D

I'm with you Zoom, all mine are in "secret locations" but are viewable if I want them to be!

Totally. :)

All of mine are completely coverable.

And, really, sometimes... showing a tattoo at some function/event isn't very err, polite? There's a word Im looking for.. I'll keep searching. :p

And to the people who would "never get a tattoo" why? Too chicken? :D :p

Very nice Buddy's Parent's, I especially like the heart.

Here is mine on the first day of getting inked, she took three sessions, three hours each. I will have to get a pic of what she looks like now. The tattoo on the neck was already there so she had to be incorportated into it...

I have one on the back of my right shoulder that I got I memory of my mom. It's a rose in full bloom and a rose bud, connected by Kanji (spirt, adopt, mother)

I want a few more an arm band of a wolf totem, and one that would cover my scar on the top of my right shoulder that would be an eagle feather with a picture of a wolf howling at the moon in it, and I want some kind of tribal design that would go just under the back of my neck.

i think with mine though. i would keep them almost all black. i would have all black for the batman symbole. and a black spider with a little red because it has to be there. i also don't really have an interest in stuff that is just patterns and stuff. not really me.

my mum said she had always thought about getting a rose stuck through a heart with blood dripping down it on her arm thats a cool idea.

i love tatoos because they are completley original and only yours.

my friend made a DIY tatoo gun. ok, its not safe i know but we did it anyway. i just got a cros in my hand. the gun was a glue gun with a pin stuck in the end, we used pen ink before but wont do it again till we have indian ink. well, i dunno ehetyher its just because i;m good with pain or what but ui thought it would hurt more so i didnt tell her too stop and ew went too deep with mine. it healed up and i pulled out the skin with ink on it so now i just have alittle scar. and i like it. exept i want to do it again for the little "<3" sign. i don't know why, i just want that home made. i wouldnt pay for that.

I have one on my toe... OW. lol...

I want another one on the top of my foot.

I like words across the wrist but It would not be able to be covered easily and I am hoping for a career in the public eye, so its a no go..

I have one that represents my Catholic heritage. I will be getting that coverred with a Buddy Christ at some point in the future.
