So you want to meet a Chazhounder, good for you! Studies show that 99% of people who meet a Chazhounder are automatically endowed with a higher level of "awesomesauce" than their "lamesauce" counterparts.

Erm, ok sorry about that.

So yeah. Giant ChazMeet, eh? Thinking summer-ish time, perhaps June? I'm putting a poll with this as far as location possibilities go and we'll go from there.

Let's make this thread for ideas, carpooling/rooming details, activity ideas and the like.

OMG! Just the thought of it makes me soooo excited!! :D

I did have some questions, about some (minor? :p) details... dogs or no dogs? (my vote is DOGS! LOL) Do we have some locations in mind, ex a dog park, campground, other building (another forum I'm on used this place for somewhere around $250, I think).

I didn't vote yet, because I've never been to any of those places and its going to be a long drive lol so it will be my only 'vacation' for that year  Oh, and weekends are best for me! ;)

:D

I'm thinking YES DOGS, but it depends on where it's going to be held. If Denver, or KC, I know some great parks and things like that. Anywhere else, I'm relying on those locals to supply the details.

Maddie and I are usually a package deal :D hehe

I picked KS, because it seemed 'in the middle' for more Chazzers maybe. But I don't know anything about the area... and VA is A LOT closer to me... but looking forward to it, either way!

If anyone is coming from my way, as long as I have a good car still :p, I'd be willing to drive... maybe we could spilt gas money? I'm one of those annoying drivers who hate stopping, though :p just a warning :rofl1:

Maybe we can get a deal on hotel or campground if enough of us attend.

I was thinking KC was rather central, but there is a pretty heavy concentration of Eastern Chazzers. But I know NOTHING about that part of the country, so someone else would have to do most of the organizational stuff.

I picked KC because, despite being a ~12 hour drive, that's the closest to me! And for my fellow South Texans, I'm willing to carpool and whatnot.

If I can I will totally be in, sounds like a blast!

I picked KC, it's the closest to me at an 8 hour drive.

i voted for virginia because that's the only one i'd realistically be able to get to.

i vote NOT denver as it's not pit bull friendly and thus should not be considered for a dog party.

Maybe we could look at a couple places that we could potentially have it at (parks, rental areas, whatever), and then decide which location is best, if we're having a hard time narrowing the Where down.

None of the cities listed would work out for me. I think it's a great idea, and I think it should really be in central NC. :)

This is a good point, though I do want to point out that Denver County is the only actual part that has the ban and it's super tiny. Easily avoidable. I play with pitties on a regular basis out here and everything we'd be doing would not be giving money to Denver CO or LoDo.

The VA location was what I picked since it's the closest and the only one I could swing at all. I'd also be up for an NC gathering. ;)

I could definitely do VA, but I don't think KC is good for me. I would totally be willing to carpool with some other southern Chazzers, or pick someone and *1* other dog up. Enzo's definitely coming with me, and if someone wants to go halfsies on a room up there, I'd be cool with that too.
