Wow, that is just CREEPY! When you read about the dogs, it's as if they're describing robots. D: How very sad.
I've seen plenty of "teacup thingapoos" for $10,000+. I personally know a girl who breeds "Imperial Shih Tzus" (re: undersized, non show quality, non tested, non standard) and sells the puppies for $5,000 to $10,000.
But, all of those ridiculous prices only indicate that the breeder's goal is to make excessive profits... and does NOT indicate any money/time/effort actually put into the dogs, nor does it indicate their quality.
Most any purebred, show quality puppy from tested/shown/awesome parents will usually cost from $700-$1000, regardless of breed. Flat-faced, large-headed dogs like Bulldogs and Pugs will generally cost more, because the Mom's often need c-sections.
