I didn't give out my email address, because, I don't want one of those emails that ask for all your personal info. I did finish the survey, but still can't see what the heck my marital status has to do with anything.
It all has to do with demographics to see what market segments are more apt to do things a certain way over another. This help them know how to advertise and reach those segments. For instance, if they found that mostly women that are divorced and are 40-55 and make "X" amount of money, they will make sure the people in their advertisments depict this lifestlyle.

Wow, never thought of it like that.

I'm in marketing, Nedim! And that's why the ones on the up and up will always ask those with a marketing background to tell them so, then that peson is not eligiable for the research! Because we know what they're after!

Not really too tricky. Just a good way to find out if the product they're trying to peddle really meets the needs of the consumer before they go to all the expense of doing it. And once they do, they know how to do it best -- like to what kinds of people in which kind of circumstances and and what price point.

Lol, I feel bad for some companies that fail horribly with their products and wind up spending more than they're receiving.

I guess there are alot of elderly out there in apts whose tea-cup babies never see the light of day except from a 10th floor window .( Sigh.) Sad, but I guess the pads beat using newspaper.

The marital status question is intended so that we can make a presentation on what demographic is more likely to buy the product - married or single!

And yes...this is a student survey for a "Marketing Research" class. The product is unique as there is a possibility for new introductions based on the findings we present to our professor and the analysis we come up with, who may then take it to the next step with companies.

Thanks for your support.

Be careful. This is a cheap survey being conducted by college students for free for whoever it is that wants to start selling wee -pads. This is not the usual way to do market research. Or it could be a way to collect e-mail addresses for their spam. Any company on the up and up would conduct their market research by paying their participants to answer surveys or attend focus groups.
This is a project for a Marketing Research Class, and we are limited by the budget allocated to us. We did conduct focus groups, based on which this questionnaire was framed. I do not say that we are perfect, but only trying to learn the subject better through some real world experiences.

Thanks

Why would anybody want a dog to pee indoors? Unless they can be taught to use the toilet, like cats.
ROFL! Blue, the visuals on that are hysterical, especially if you frame them in public restrooms . . . or a male/female situation with the male leaving the seat up . . . :D

LOL That's funny, Blue. Actually piddle pads could be quite useful for an older dog, who can't hold it all day while the owner is at work. They can be useful, in some cases.
