I think taking up her offer is the smart thing to do.

I agree with telling your mom you have no idea what happened to them. If she says she has "better things to worry about than the cats", then I don't think she'd be all that concerned if they were gone.

Do the right thing spirit. I think taking BP's offer is best. She even said she'd call your mother and talk to her directly. She doesn't have to say she's from the internet, she can just say she's from a rescue that's willing to help.

I'd have to say that I can't blame those who are getting upset with you. Just from this thread, I see that people are clearly offering advice to you, and you continually shut it down. Why complain and LOOK for advice when you can't take it?


I've had some really rough times in my life. But I never denied help when someone offered it to me.

ETA: If I was on the net to get help for my cats, talking to people, and I knew it would get me in trouble -- I think I'd take the risk of being yelled at if I cared that much about my cats.

Yes, I can see where everyone is getting upset with me now. And, I'm really not that bad of a person. And I really care about these cats, and will do anything. But I am young still, and wanted to really badly take the offer. And did. Finally. But, I hope BP, will tell me what rescue it is, and if they have a site, so I can see that Mika, and the babies are doing great. Because Smokie, and kittens are a little thin, and I'm trying to fatten them all up now. Mika's good and fat. Mika talks to you, and I will miss her dearly, and the kittens, and Smokie, but I will know that they are going to a much better home.

I agree here, Spirit. You need to step up and stop making excuses. I'm your age, a little younger, I'd be working my ass off pulling weeds, mucking out stalls, anything to earn money for my animals, like I have before just to get them things I think they should have, let alone when their lives are at stake! I'm glad you are accepting BP's offer. Nicole, you are AMAZING, thank you for stepping up in the lives of the cats. And everyone who has put time aside in their lives to find rescues, doing emails, etc. And thank you for those who had guts enough to stop biting their tongue (unlike me).
I'm glad you realize none of these cats are getting proper care where they are now. And I'm so glad you are accepting the offer. I sure hope you go through with it.

This is the deal, Spirit. I will get somebody to come to your house and pick up every single cat/kitten. They will all be spayed/neutered and they will go to a rescue in order to find suitable homes. This will be of no charge to you. I see no reason, whatsoever, to not accept this. You will not be inconvenienced in any way and they will go to homes that can provide for them. Your thoughts?

- picture of all of them.. if they are individual photos great, if not, that's fine, too. And recent pictures, please. Number the kittens, from 1, 2, etc.. and give details about each one. For example, kitten #1 is a female, orange and white, yadda, yadda. Kitten #2 is a male, etc ..

-What are their ages, from the adults down to the kittens...

-What vet services have been done so far?

Ok, I have a really good picture of all three of the orange kittens, face pictures, not individual, its on my mom's camera. And I'll get some recent pictures, And Smokie's kittens aren't old enough to go yet. They are only 5 weeks. If I don't get anything over to you over the weekend, then I was probably busy. Or if it doesn't come tonight. I'm pretty sure Monday will be the deadline. Thats my goal, so I can get everything together.
