Did you see my PM? Did you call that shelters and see about s/n for the cats?

I have a PM, but, I have to answer this honestly.. I haven't yet. :( I've been busy. And I need to make time for it. I should really get her one soon. I know, I'm not really doing my duty, and I feel so stupid not doing it. I only have $11. That I got from going to Petsmart, and Rickers. So I decided to save it. ;) I know, not as much as you guys wanted. But isn't that an improvement?

Its like a 30-40 minute drive. And Maxy e-mailed there, and got it for free, and my mother wasn't inerested in driving that far.

:( I'm very sad, because I feel like I'm a hopeless case to you guys. And everyone's trying to help, and I can't seem to do anything, unless I have parental help, or whatever. And the thing is, I want to do everything I can for Mika, and Smokie. And I don't want to give them to a rescue or whatever. I just need to get them spayed, and they will be set. :( And I'm just an anchor of the process. :( And a neuter scooter is coming to town soon too. $40 for spaying/neutering, and vaccinations! My sister for pete sake is trying to get both of our cats spayed!! But we both need $80 because we both have two cats.

Spirit..PM me your zipcode if you feel comfortable.. there has got to be clinics in your area or rescues that do free or at the very least low cost spay/neuters.

What do you plan to do with the cats? Keep them? is this for the kittens as well?

Oh, my goal is to get Smokie, and Mika spayed, and the kittens good, loving homes. Cause I don't want them living outdoors as well (I sneak Smokie, and Mika indoors all the time, can't do it, with 10 cats outdoors). But, Mika, she loves the outdoors, and indoors. But, thats my New Year's Resolutions, well, now it is. I'll PM you.

Very true....... 317, that number has got to come to me, Indy is the closest to me, 30-40 minute drive. Oh no.. situation, I'm still saving up for their spays. Even if it takes me more than a month to get all the money. Which I need to get it faster than a month. For Mika's. Before she gets pregnant again. I don't want that to happen. Because kittens are tons of work, and never want to see a birth of an animal again. As long as its a pet. Cause the sore eyes, and the amount of care.

This is the deal, Spirit. I will get somebody to come to your house and pick up every single cat/kitten. They will all be spayed/neutered and they will go to a rescue in order to find suitable homes. This will be of no charge to you. I see no reason, whatsoever, to not accept this. You will not be inconvenienced in any way and they will go to homes that can provide for them. Your thoughts?

Well I know what MY thoughts are:
:hail: :hail: :hail:

Spirit you need to accept this offer. You cannot provide the right environment for your cats. This includes your adult cats as well. This is no way for cats to live, being sneaked in the house, getting pregnant, living outside in pens. It is just not right. You have to face up to the fact that you cannot provide properly for these cats. This is a one time deal and once a cat is left behind with you and something comes up again, that cat will have lost out forever. Give them a chance at a better life! Take BPs most generous offer.

Correct. You are not. You are not taking responsibility in any timely fashion. Take the offer before those kittens die of URIs and your adult cats end up pregnant again or run over by a car from living outdoors. Right now, with BP's offer the responsible thing just got easy for you, without excuses or procrastination. You don't have to lift a finger or find time. The responsible thing won't cost you a thing in your time or money. Now is your chance to show us, rather than tell us, that you are truly willing to do the responsible thing.

Only thing stopping me from that is, someone coming to pick them up, my parents will wonder why on earth, and where on earth, and who on earth is down here.. I'm sorry........ Someone coming to pick them up, there is many problems with it, I would accept it, but theres many problems.. What do I tell everyone? Or anyone? :( I know I am a terrible person for not accepting it. We are going to call the Humane Society today though.. No kill shelter. Spay/neuter before they go, and shots, and everything. Because my grandma will do that.. And its closer than the rest of them. I'm sorry for not accepting it. hate myself for everything, and being a terrible cat owner.

Then you tell your mom what is going on.. that someone has offered to pay for the spay/neuter of every cat and will pay for a rescue to take them and find homes for them. WHAT is so problematic about that?

I really have the feeling.. that you're not telling the whole truth here. Many of us have gone above and beyond to provide assistance and you continually shut us down. There is no reason to accept this offer. No reason. You never sent me a PM when you said you would. If you feel your mother would not be okay with someone coming to your house, I will give you my phone number and she can call me and *I* can explain to her what *I* have offered to do. This will be of inconvenience to you or her, whatsoever, time or money wise. Please explain to me where the problems lie. I'd love to be able to work this out and get those cats spayed/neutered, their shots, etc.. and go to homes where they will be properly cared for.
