Right is right and wrong is wrong and a man - or woman - has the choice to make themselves. There are traditions that aren't worthy of honoring. Fighting animals as surrogates is nothing more than a coward's way of "proving" himself.
The scary thing is that no matter how torqued we get about websites like this, you've got to realize that the people who actually DO fight dogs in organized fights DON'T talk about it on the web . . . Most of these people are posers. Still worthless creeps, but posers.

I think I see Bulloxes point. For the most part our culture breeds dogs for qualities and traits other than fighting, and there are cultures that breeds soley for fighting qualities. Would we still keep breeding if the bragging rights for the best of your breed where no longer there? Love would you breed your dogs if nobody was interested in the traits you are breeding for?
There are places in the world where families breed fighting dogs the same way Love's familly breeds mushing dogs.
That said, breeding for and training dogs for fighting turns my gut. Those on the site that started this thread that defend dog fighting are callous, shallow, and show no love for the dogs they fight, only their own pride as a trainer/breeder.

That is how I am too. Bulloxer01, sorry I jumped on you about this. I just get really upset and I was very upset when I found that forum. I was seething mad. I don't want you to think all we do on this forum is get mad at people, we usually have great conversations. You just happened into a thread that was very touchy for us.
I apologize for jumping on you. I do hope that you will stay around and check out some of the less controversial threads too.
