So, what's everyone else using for birth control?

I did that for 4 years! it was great! but he is the one , so we where prepeared for the oops. and our oops was TWINS!
I felt like I should have "learned something" or "known better" but seriously. We couldn't go back to condoms and he agreed I was a raging lunatic on all forms of BC. Yes, completely abnormal behavior that took months to work out of my system.

I really wish uteruseseses (uteri?) were like, velcro attached or something. Slap it it when you want kids, store in the freezer every other time of your life. And that you could have a cage match with your hormones right at pueberty and they would forever be beaten into submission.

I agree 10000%. My body says "hell no" to all forms of birth control. Ok, so maybe my brain does the talking for condoms. And my whole self does the talking about abstinence, but seriously! I think we could all do without the hell our bodies are put through. We're designed to have sex, so why does it have to result in a baby when we just really, really, don't want one right now?

My FEET swelled so much on the monophasic birth control. It was ridiculous. I had to buy bigger shoes. Seriously ridiculous.

Currently I am being stupid. Or being a better Christian than usual ;) whichever.
I'm not sure I got this right.

Good Christians don't have sex? So then where do all the little Christians come from?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~OR~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Good Christians don't use birth control? So then why aren't we knee-deep in little Christians?
It's confusing.
'Cause sex is supposed to produce babies! The entertainment aspect is purely a byproduct.
I refuse to believe that. And it's far more than entertainment, and better "entertainment" than most things I've found entertaining.
In my dinky town, there is a trend among "good Christians" and way-too-many-kids. One family I'm thinking of has 14+ kids. Another has 8? I think... yeah. No thanks.
I was discouraged from "the patch" and I was concerned about an injection if I reacted poorly to that too.
I was going to get a Mirena until he (insert whine, bitch, moan about being cheated on). I'd likely get a Mirena when I'm involved with someone again.
There's also paraguard, since hormones seem to be a problem for you. . . It's my back-up if mirena doesn't work out long-term.
Sprintec, which is a generic monophasic pill. It's working GREAT! No more cramps, my sex drive is still essentially normal, my PMS mood swings are minimal again...I am just beyond thrilled. After the whole "massive depression/no sex drive/giant mood swings" debacle I went through with my last pill...yeah. I'm freaking stoked at how this is working.
And condoms.
Dude, really, the same birch control now?
This twinness thing is getting a little deep.
Apparently they're in tune with nature and have heard the secret that birch-bark is as effective as a condom.
yeah it probably is as effective...
"oh darn, we're out of condoms!"
"no, wait! It's okay, we have THIS! And it's ORGANIC!"
A year ago my answer would have been "5 kids" (trust me, the most effective BC EVER)
Now it is hysterectomy. Probably due to those 5 kids ;)
