Nooo... I'm not keeping him...

... my mother is. :p . She's about to lose her last little dachshund, at the age of 17, to kidney failure and she is just head over heels on wanting him to raise from a puppy. So, she's gonna be his new mommy. But she is letting me name him, woo! (Thank goodness, cause she'd end up really something REALLY bland if she named him... like "Freckles" or "Spot", LOL)

Ugh, out of 11 names, I've ended up picking at LEAST 5(!!) that I am torn between.

Asael
Gage
Lyric
Israel
Isaiah

LOL Vanilla, Willis makes me think of Gary Coleman -- "Whatchu talkin' bout Willis!" I think if I used the name Willis, that da*n line would be stuck in my head forever.

So far, that's 3 people that like the name Lyric... I kinda like it too, it has a ring to it, and it's not something you hear a dog named everyday...

Oooo, I like the name Aegis too. Do you happen to know anything about the name, like what it means?

Yeah, I'm glad she's taking him. Because I *REALLY* did not need another dog right now, but I would've had a hard time letting that little booger go. So I'm glad she wants him, because now I'll be able to see him grow up, and you guys will get lots of puppy-to-adult pictures. :D

hehe.. I was thinking the same thing. You've got a lot of dogs so reasonably it wouldn't be wise to keep him... But who could turn that sweet little face away? I'm glad everything is working out so well :)

Would have to say Lyric is a cool name for a dog.

Vancouver? or Westminster? what were you thinking? Don't tell me Cleveland Ohio was also on your list. :lol-sign:

LOL, no Cleveland. I've never been to Canada, but just LOVE the thought of moving there one day. I know several people who in live Vancouver, some have moved there from the states, and wouldn't live anywhere else. So I had the whole Canada thing on my mind when I thought those two names up (Vancouver, and Westminster as in B.C.)

I have a foster pit bull named Denver though, as in Denver Colorado. :p I didn't name him that though.

I like the name too... but I think there is some forum meaning behind it which may be why a lot of people like.;)

I also like Malachi.

Honestly, I am heavily leaning towards Israel or Isaiah. I'd like to name my son Isaiah, when I have a child one day, so I may save that name...

I love the name Lyric, but it really does sound like a girls name (or at least, a girly boy name).

I dunno, what does everyone else think? (About "Lyric" being more for a girl. And, what do y'all think about the name Israel? I've heard of a little girl named Israel, but I think it can be either gender...)

I crossed out Gage, because I've seen a few dogs named that, and I want something different. Same with Baylyn and Dilynn.

But I love the name Malachi too... UGH!
