These names are all way to serious for a cute andsilly Dachshund pup. Grover, I tell you, is what is meant to be. It has its serious side, how about Grover Cleveland Alexander, hall of fame baseball pitcher, in turn named after Grover Cleveland, president?

I dunno... I don't really like Grover. Reminds me of the garbage can character from Sesame Street, LOL.

My mother agreed on the name Gage, which I kinda decided against, but may be considering again, since she likes it. And she said she loved the names Lyric and Israel as well. Hmmm...

I do get what your saying about seriousness though, which is why I may end up with Gage, since it's a cute little guy name. So is Baylyn and Dilynn, even though they're kinda common (especially when spelled "Dillon").

I mean no offense to dachshunds when I say they are cute and silly. My family has had assorted dachshunds for as long as i can remember, and one day I really want a wirehair. Love those whiskers.

Oh, no offense taken here! They really are a silly breed, my guys are a bunch of goofballs, LOL.

I love the wire-hair's too, they are gorgeous. My favorites are the long-hair's, but I love all three coat varieties myself. I've never owned a wire-hair (yet ) but I'm sure eventually, in the -far- future, I'll have a wire-hair one.

So I picked a name!

I got so fed up trying to decide on a name, I took him outside for an hour and tried them ALL out on him. When I came to the chosen name, he popped his head up at it, and when I called it, it just "felt right".
