Pfft I have been bitten at work more times then I can count now.. all little dogs with little socializing..

Riot has sunk his K9 tooth into my hand as well once (my fault though.. complicated to tell the story but basically I went to grab his face for some eye contact from him, didn't realize he was panting at the same time and my hand went into his tooth.) I had to go to the hopsital and get a Tetnus shot but because of the location (inbetween my pinky and ring finger) they couldnt given me stitches. He did some nerve damaged though because it still hurts when its poked between there.
The poor guy didn't know what was going on when I fainted after. (his tooth hit my bone and shock took over lol).,

The last time was when I was about 13. My friend had a large (standard) cockerpoo named Nicky. I LOVED that dog so much. We were doing dishes and I went to pick up a bowl that had been given to Nicky with a bit of ice cream in it. He bit me in the face...badly. I needed several stitches inside my mouth (his bottom jaw went inside my mouth) and more stitches on my cheek where his top teeth went. My friends mom beat the living daylights out of him while I screamed and tried to get her to stop. That incident was just horrible and left me hating my friends mom and desperate for Nicky's forgiveness....I really thought it was my fault. Of course if wasn't.

What a sad story on so many levels, did they put her down?

I was about 5 or 6 and had seen the little boy riding Old Yeller. So I got the genius idea that I would ride our standard dachshund. He ended up biting me in the face when I attempted it. I think I lied to my mom when she asked me why he did it. We forgave each other and he lived another 8 or 9 years after that (luckily w/no back problems). The thing I still can't figure out is we also had a great dane at the time-why didn't I try riding her? I can only hope my kids are a little smarter:lol-sign:

Yep, almost by a GSD, and I have been bitten by my loveable dog Hershey, we are working on it, but the family is not helping, they are making it more difficult.
