This morning Lovie starting vomiting non stop about 8 times at home, then twice in the car. After talking to the vet we figured out that she might of eaten one of the "lawn" mushrooms that are in our yard. They feed off of "Tree stumps, old mulch and animal waste".. It's the only thing we can figure out that she would of gotten into out of the ordinary.
I try to pull them up when I see them but guess I missed one. We'll comes to find out they are poisioness, some types.
I made a 2pm appt for her to just be checked out and bring a sample of the shroom in but when I pulled her out from under the bed asleep, she was soaked in sweat! Off to the vet we go.
They are keeping her there to administer IV fluids & do toxicology blood work.
If she does test positive for toxins, that has to be it.
Just wanted to inform all of us pet lovers and owners-Make sure the lawn mushrooms are pulled up out of your yard.
