After a quick search, I pretty much read all I need to know about how to start off, and what to feed. I just would like to hear where you all get your meet, and at what age can a dog start raw?
We got pinky about a month ago and she has recently been starting to itch as well. Its to the point that there is an open sore on her neck. I dont think its fleas because they are both on flea meds, and we check them often. We usually dont find any, but will occasionally find one, or two fleas, but I dont think two fleas should be causing a dog to itch iself raw. Anyhow, she is 4 months old now, is this too early to start her on raw? If I cant do raw diet, what else can I try?
Bruno has allergies that make him very itchy, and he has to have a pill twice a day to stop it. Without the pill he will litterally scratch at himself untill he has open wounds all around his head and neck....Hes on taste of the wild now and it seems pretty decent. I have tried some brands of eucanuba, EVO etc, but nothing really makes a difference. I have been wanting to try raw for a while now, and pinky being itchy was pretty much the tipping point.
As always, thanks for your help everyone!
