Hey there! I just wanted to pop in and let you all know that the dogs and I are still quite alive! Sorry for dropping off the face of the earth earlier this year; I got busy with puppy-related activities and sort of fell out of the habit. I'm also at school and away from the dogs for most of the year, so I don't have much in the way of pictures to share - I'm signing a lease on a pet-friendly apartment next week, though, so that should change starting this summer! If all goes well I'll be moving out with Cricket, and possibly (depending on how crazy I decide to be) a new Cricket grand-puppy
I have really missed this community, though, and I'm sure I'm behind on all kinds of dogs news from the past six months or so.
I don't think I ever announced this here, but we are up to four dogs! Without further ado I would like to introduce Simon, who is Journey's son and is just about seven months old now.
At six months:
He's a huge dork. He has always been a pretty "go-with-the-flow" kind of puppy, and is just the happiest, sweetest big guy. His preferred method of greeting strangers is to lay on top of them and fall asleep.
You could say he fits in pretty well.
He was pretty stupid cute as a puppy (this is at 12 weeks, I believe)
At four months (that's his sister Ruby in the foreground):
He's a pretty big fan of lure coursing.
And agility is pretty fun too, even if you don't always go in the right direction.
