I would like to add one thing, you said your puppy is 12 weeks meaning he wouldn't have his full set of vaccinations yet. You really shouldn't take him to the dog park until he's had all of his shots, he can pick up some really nasty stuff there.

FOr that reason above all but also the pure social concerns that could get him hurt or killed. He has no business there at all. I am a big advocate for the dog park but not for a pup this young. Not for unsocialized dogs at all. I Don't care if the op comes back or not but anyone reading this should know that. I about had a heart attack when a man came to our dog park with two 6 week old large breed puppies. I went up to him and told him the dangers...probably not as nicely as i should..but he did pick them up off of the ground. He probably put them back down when he was out of my eyesight, i hope not. I literally felt panicked when i saw them. I have seen too many puppies die from parvo. People just have no idea how painful it is and how fast it can hit. THe day this man came was hot too. Parvo especially likes it in the 90's and above.

Thanks, Smkie. There were so many things completely wrong in that :wall:

I'll never figure out how someone can think they can waltz in with a real problem, not only get rational, helpful answers, but across the board agreement (which is so rare here, lol) and then act like an asshat and proceed to pronounce that they're right and the rest of the board is wrong in a completely insulting (and juvenile) manner and think they're going to get by with it.

Hell, if he knew so much already, what was he doing coming here and asking? How logical.

And the irony is the repeated declaration of "You cannot demand respect, you must earn it."

This thread has been my source of entertainment ALL night... though by the time I got to read it our little troll was already gone. DARN! I wanted to partake in the fun. On a serious note though... people like that really get on my last nerve... and anyone that knows me knows that I rarely ever get peeved at people.

I have been avoiding this thread until now, but I just read through the whole thing. Some of the chazzers' comments were extremely dissappointing to me. I really thought people on this board were more mature and respectful than this. Yes, it was obvious that the OP was a troll, but it's also obvious that this could've been stopped about 7 pages ago if some posters hadn't egged him on.

Seems to me that some users should consider themselves lucky that it was only the OP who got banned.

Where's the fun in that? ;)

I highly doubt that. Seems to me users gave good advice, were replied to with an attitude and things such as 'you are wrong!', and then they got snarky. Was some a bit uncalled for? Maybe. But not much, the OP was baiting for an argument from around the second post.

Yes I feel Enigma was 100% right in saying my advice was "WRONG" (their words, not mine) and being a total asshat...
They did this without provocation, and therefore, I believe they deserved what happened...they weren't egged on, they were looking for a fight from the get go...instead of sucking it up and taking the good with the bad like any reasonable adult would do.

Just because someone peed in their gene pool doesn't mean they should take it out on others offering constructive advice that THEY asked for...

My pup has the opposite problem! She is a large American Bulldog and she always wants to play with the small, itty bitty dogs at the dog parks. She tends to think she is small and even tries to sit on my lap!
