All I can say is if you've ever had a Shih tzu (sp?) with its hair all long and let it get tangled ... it's bad, I mean really bad. The hair on the willy wasn't the prob. It was around the back that was a problem. About 10 yrs ago I babysat my mom's dog for her. I gave him table scraps. Why, because I thought all dogs should have them. Well he went out to potty. He came back in dragging his butt on the carpet. I was on my way to see what the prob was when he stood up an shook. Well poo flew every where. It stuck on the blinds and the walls. It was caked on his rear and tangled in the hair. GROSS . It was he!! to clean up. Lessons learned. BRUSH BUTCHIE'S BUT OFTEN ! LMAO Its alot funnier now than it was then.

Kahlua prefers the uncut version but is willing to accept all others as well.

Aus would like to thank Tosca for the downfall of Kahlua's morals

yeah but it's got to make it a little less enjoyable for her if their not clean. Think of all the infections she could pick up.
Tosca uses protection. I told her, Tosca if you are going to be a slut in this day and age, you need to have them wear two condoms and duct tape.

For all other things, there's pennicillin.

I used to have a chinchilla who had a ton of hair ring issues... we'd have to check him and pull off the hair rings almost every day :yikes:

I've had male dogs over the years and we never trimmed their package. We never had any trouble with any of them having "flow" trouble or infections. I guess I'd be afraid of trimming them and have them move at the last second and they'd get a circumcision :yikes:

man everyone's got a different opinion in here.

I don't trim Milo's...It looks a little yellow (talking the long fur right near the top, none on his sheath or belly really), but it doesn't seem to bother him or me.

OH MY GOD. I never wanted a Chinchilla before, but now I know I never want one. How the heck do they GET hair rings? And do I even want to know how you remove them? Those poor boys.

Middie doesn't have a whole lot. But it cracked me up when he came back from his neuter and his penis had a poodle cut. No, I'm not kidding at all lmao. They shaved from the base to about an inch from the tip, so he had this pom-pom of fur right at the tip... poor guy.

How educational. I never knew that about chins.

I've had more females than males, but have never trimmed a male's penis.
